Beware, they just hired an lady cashier that is a professional scammer. She is very sneaky and always wear a mask cover upto her eyes. When you get ready to pay, she will give you the correct print out of the bill, and then she will bring the digital charging device to you to swipe your card. What she doesnt let you see is the amount you paid is 30% or 50% more than the printed bill.According to the owners response below, I should see the total amount to be charged on the charging device, and I don't see that. The scammer cashier told me to go ahead and pay. Using Google pay you will never have to touch their device and have to sign anything, the payment will go through in a blink of an eye. Seems like owner still want to defend the scammer. We have been supporters of this local business for many years. Every time our music group finish our performance in TO, we would come here and celebrate. Too bad one bad apple spoiled the whole bowl of soup.

This is so disgusting fellow Thousand Oaks folks. You should pay attention. The older woman at the front desk is a professional liar. She is the only one who wears a mask and cannot see her face. She is very cunning. The other young people do not wear masks. She showed me the printed bill, and then secretly added a 40% tip on the payment machine without telling me. I found out after I paid. I asked her and she insisted that I added it to her payment machine myself. I am also a regular customer for many years and don’t want to waste time. I hope the boss will check it carefully. Beware cashier is a thief. She will add 40% tip to your bill without letting you know. The bill she will show you is not include tips, after you paid with Google paid or Apple pay the amount will be charged with that huge tip.

Because new older lady cashier is a very sneaky thief. She add on 40% tips to my bill and I didn't realize it until I got home. She will show you you correct bill amount, but when you tab your card to pay, the amount charge through your credit card will be much higher. She must scammed people too many times already. When you caught her she will denied it and blame that you added the 40%tips. Dishonest business, run away

Best chinese food I've ever had. Spicy, and so much different than Americanized Chinese food I'm used to. Staff was very friendly and quick. Everything was delicious.

This may be the restaurant I frequented most often when I was in school at ppd. It’s not bad.

Definitely one of the bedt spots in TO. From what I've tried on the menu I've never been disappointed. Everything's tasty & they give you a generous portion. Definitely worth checking out!

The service here is really excellent. We showed our waitress a photo from here on yelp of food we wanted to try and she told us how to order it (it ended up being like a kind of custom order). The house made chili sauce is excellent.

We had a wonderful take- out meal from this Hunan style Chineses restaurant. We enjoyed the hot and sour soup. Sliced roast duck breast was the best I've had in years. It was crispy on the outside and so flavorful. The pork belly with bamboo shoots was cooked to perfection and delicious. Our order had everything we ordered in it, a rare occurrence for us these days. We're looking forward to eating there next time and trying other dishes.

Authentic Chinese cuisine with some palette friendly alternatives. Enjoyed the chefs special beef noodle soup... totally savory and satisfying portion. The broth is very delicious and an absolute comfort on a winter evening. To order you scan the bar code on the table and add the dishes you desire to your cart. Your phone number identifies you. You pay the live server at the end of the meal. Very easy and efficient.Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. My family will definitely return.

Good lawd i must b ordering the wrong dishes. I love chinese food but i threw away the tofu and the fried rice was weird. The claim is authentic chinese. Must be from dome obscure corner province. I do not like raining on small bizs but jeez I have tried going back 4 times now. The kum pao shrimp was so off that I threw it away. Sorry folks but try this place at your own peril and if anyone is writing good reviews ok go spend $40 to come up with your own opinion. Good luck.

It is unfortunate that there are so many mediocre Chinese restaurants, making it nearly impossible to tell if one from another.I trusted other reviewers and was not disappointed! The Special Grilled Fish is terrific. My wife and I split one for lunch and were completely satisfied. Tender and wonderfully spicy - continuing to cook as we ate it. Ask for soup spoons, the broth itself is delicious. We will be definitely be back to sample more of the menu.

So, stumbled upon this gem of a Chinese restaurant that's basically a flavor carnival in my mouth. Authenticity level? Off the charts. It's like they smuggled a piece of China right into my neighborhood. The food? Mind-blowing. General Tso's Chicken was a taste bud symphony, and the dumplings were like savory clouds. It's the real deal, no doubt. Now, here's the thing--they've got some serious skills in the kitchen, but the cleanliness game could use a little boost. It's not a deal-breaker, but I found myself wishing for a touch more sparkle in the ambiance.Four stars because, let's be honest, I want my food to be the only thing that leaves a lasting impression. But hey, if they up their cleanliness game, this place could easily be crowned the emperor of Chinese cuisine in my book. Keep the flavors coming, and maybe throw in a dash of Windex.

Stopped in for a late afternoon lunch and was greeted by the lady behind the counter walking in and sat down where I wanted. This is a small eatery with a dozen or so tabletops, located in a strip center along with several others. She brought a tablet with her to the table and I place my order directly, a kind service that was a cool first for me. This is about as authentic Chinese as I have eaten in the area, and im glad I stopped. An order of Steamed dumplings with new style Kung Pao Chicken with hot Jasmin tea. A traditional tea pot, and a generous pot, more than enough the share and quite good. My kung pao came out first a nice sized bowl of red onion, peanut, peppers and chicken in a nice spicy sauce, service with side of sticky white rice. Chopsticks in hand (real not packaged) it was a very enjoyable meal. Full flavored with a nice spicy tangy heat really very much to my personal liking. The steamed dumplings arrived, obviously prepared fresh by hand, they tasted as good as they looked plump and delicious with a side dipping sauce. A serving of five I ate them all but one and it went with me.4 Stars - A very good meal, authentic and true cuisine with kind service definitely worth a visit. 00909
