Came looking for a place to do some online work for a few hours and get some avocado toast. I’m often disappointed by avo toast at places or think it’s overpriced but it was definitely above my expectations here! Delicious and huge portions. Workers were sweet, cafe was clean, organized and easy to hear/see when your order is ready. Will come back

I am so sorry that I "slept" on this sweet little coffee shop in Newbury Park. I love this Raggamuffin location opposed to their bigger store in Oxnard, I just love a more cozy vibe and this spot definitely fit the bill.My friend had been encouraging me to try this spot with her so we stopped in for a late breakfast at about 10:40am on a Sunday. I was happy personally that it wasn't too busy. Seems like this is the right time to come if you want to avoid the crowds. I've driven by this spot on the weekends closer to 9am and it can be pretty busy, good to note depending on what kind of atmosphere you want. They had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating so that was ideal. We opted for outside so we can get some fresh air and talk.The staff here are very friendly and efficient. The girl taking my order was nice and friendly. She was quick to take our orders and food/drinks were called out in under 10 minutes. I really like that they use a name based system for calling out your order! Please don't change this. I always find it awkward when coffee shops just call out the drink or food item because then you sometimes have more than one person rushing up to grab it. It doesn't help my anxiety lol. I loved that this place takes your name and writes it on the drink and food box, it just made for such an easy experience and ensuring everyone gets their correct order.The inside of the coffee shop is cozy and welcoming. I liked that they have different merch swag that you can buy like hats and shirts. Always nice to support and represent local businesses. Prices were reasonable and the menu here is great for drink and food options. While they have plenty of pastry goods I love that they had warm made to order dishes like burritos and toasts etc. Service, atmosphere, and ambience were an easy 5/5!The food and drinks are also 5 stars. To drink I had the iced vanilla matcha latte and it was one of the best matcha's I've had at a non-Asian inspired coffee shop. The matcha wasn't too sweet but had a really delicious flavor. Next time I'm ordering a bigger cup because it was just too yummy.The avocado toast was fantastic! I'm glad I only ordered a half portion because it was huge, very generous. In some ways it was a no frills toast but the flavor was on point. I also didn't fancy it up by adding an egg or anything which you can do here. I just loved the simplicity of the delicious avocado, pepper flakes, and olive oil. The bread was perfection, it held the ingredients nicely but wasn't too hard. Really the perfect avocado toast. I'll be adding this spot on my coffee shop rotation for sure. Thank you Raggamuffin Coffee Roasters!

Pretty busy cafe with a decent ambience. There was no vacant seating indoors so we took a table outside.We ordered Acai cruiser, Avocado Toast, Latte and an Iced Tea. For some reason, I thought Newbury Park is a cheaper location than San Francisco. The menu prices gave a different impression. The Latte was definitely better than Starbucks but a little expensive. The Avocado Toast and Acai cruiser were meh and were definitely expensive for the quality. The staff was friendly. The coffee was prepared in around 5 mins of ordering. The food took more than 20 mins though. It maybe a one-off thing. But if you like to eat your food along side of your coffee, better to order the food first and coffee later once the food is done.Overall, an ok experience. Will try other cafes the next time I am in town.

Great little spot with excellent coffee and good food…Need to upgrade the outside seating..but that’s just me being picky..very friendly and attentive staff.
I ordered two decaf coffee drinks, a Lavender Honey, and a Mexican Mocha to go. I was very disappointed to find that neither had any recognizable flavor at all.

Gigi is so amazing, and remembered my name after just a few visits. The coffee is really good and the environment is very pleasant and positive. I will definitely be a regular guest at this shop

Good coffee with attentive staff. I have picked up some of their bagged coffee and Their whole beans weren’t bad (they do single origin type stuff). The atmosphere is good for a chat. Not a ton of indoor space so it probably isn’t guaranteed you have an indoor spot if you are looking to study but both the indoor and outdoor spaces are very pleasant.

How do you tell your favorite local that their service is plummeting?There are many quality products here. The staffs level of attentiveness is all over the place. Often disaffected, lots of mistakes. Thats all I got. I go in all the time. Frustrated with mistakes and zoned out players far too often. Sorry. Hope it gets better.

I have been here a couple of times and both times the service has been slow and not exactly friendly.Both times it took 20 minutes to get an ice coffee.Coffee is good though.
