Great All Vegan Thai restaurant in Thousand Oaks, where there aren't a whole lot of vegan options. We had the:- fried tofu pad thai medium: which was pretty great, a little on the sweet side but I'm picky on pad thai, haha.- fried Brussels sprouts: these were great, crispy but not overcooked, well seasoned and a nice drizzle on top- vegetable tempura (not pictured): these were also great, fresh and crispy with a nice dipping saucePrice is very fair and on the cheaper side, especially for being vegan. They have multiple protein options (soy beef, chicken, shrimp, etc.) for every dish which is great, and offer fried or steamed tofu as well.Easy parking in the strip mall lot out front, lots of tables and booths and the service was very nice .5/5 for meVegetarian options: Entire menu is VeganDietary restrictions: Entire menu is vegan, so no dairy, eggs, meat, fish, honey, poultry, etc.Ask server for other specific allergens such as sesame, wheat, etc.Parking: Plenty of open spots out front of the restaurant, located in a large shopping center.

I went to lunch here with my friend who recently went here for lunch and she absolutely loved it and wanted me to try it. OK. I love trying new places! The inside was super clean and had a good ambience. Our waitress was over-the-top great and was there to give recommendations and answer any questions we had. She also delivered our food in a very timely manner and made sure our drinks were always filled. My friend and I both had the lunch special of the Pad Thai with vegetables and their dumplings. The lunch special came with rice (brown or white, a spring roll and soup or salad) I chose the brown rice (very different than your typical brown rice) and the salad. The salad had a Thai peanut dressing on it and it was absolutely flavorful and delicious! The salad was very fresh and had carrot shavings, cucumber and tomato. The spring roll was very fresh and tasty especially when dipped in the orange colored sauce they serve the dish with. My friend had the white rice and Miso soup which she enjoyed. Now for the pad Thai.......I was expecting a typical Thai dish of pad Thai. This was not it. I didn't think it had much flavor, or at least what I am used to, and it wasn't spicy at all. I did ask for hot chili sauce which they had and delivered to us. It did help a bit but I wasn't a fan. The veggies were just ok. They did seem to be very fresh. My only comment was that I didn't enjoy the flavor of it. Now my friend...she absolutely LOVED it! She had the same exact dish as I did but obviously she has a different palate and/or taste in food. It just goes to show you how restaurant reviews vary with each person. We did both agree that the dumplings were great and flavorful. With that being said, I will most likely go back and try something different and give it another try. How can I not when the service was fabulous, the food was fresh and the restaurant was very clean.

Awesome-tasting-clean-eating-all-Vegan food with a ton of gluten friendly options.Quality ingredients, very generous portions and great prices for vegan eating. Super friendly staff. Chef came to table to meet us with a friendly greeting.Very friendly server was super accommodating for my gluten intolerance; she advised that most dishes can be made gluten-free upon request. All types of fried rice can be made gluten free. Had pineapple fried rice, & it was absolutely amazing! Also lunch specials are available on weekends too.Gluten-free Pad Thai lunch special was absolutely delicious! Restaurant very clean and neat with ample seating and friendly server takes your order and brings food out timely that’s piping hot.Bathrooms are super clean and located very conveniently close and fully stocked with paper supplies. This is our new go-to restaurant! Great job, Vegan Thyme! Thank you! :-)

Best orange chicken I've ever had - crispy and great flavor! Also, the Mee Kati (Beet-dyed Noodle) dish is really interesting - it's my fave. The owners are so friendly, and I always experience great service. My go-to for Thai food in Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park.

I don't usually like vegan restaurants, but I went there because that's what my out of town friends chose. Oh em gee, it was so good. I had the spicy eggplant (added tofu). It's one of my go-to orders when I eat out and it was by far the best I've ever had at a restaurant. My friends all loved what they ordered too. I can't wait to go back to try other items.

Vegan thyme is one of my favorite places to eat! It’s vegan and gluten free friendly. Their staff is always so kind and understanding. Their food is amazing and their prices are great too! Highly recommend for vegans and non-vegans alike as their dishes are delicious even without the meat!
