My husband gets the rat trap sandwhich with extra of their sauce, and I get the turkey on french with mix cheeses.I don't know how long they've been doing soup, but we got the brocolli and cheese, that too was really good.Not to mention they have a big assortment of cheeses and meats for sale.

Not that great anymore! Don't go in late! They run out of Dutch crunch early!! No Rat Traps available! It's like a steak house that runs out of steak!!!
Newcastle Cheese Shop is always a fantastic place for high quality, tasty and creative sandwiches with super friendly service. But, on a rainy January day, the wood stove was burning in the corner. The contrast between the cold, wet gray day outside and the warm, dry bright fire was so heartening. I was instantly filled with joy when I saw it. We sat near the fire, longer than we needed to, and enjoyed our sandwiches. It was so satisfying.
