Due to the strong winds, the patio/outdoor seating was closed so the inside was quite loud. It was nearly impossible to hold a conversation with my family. The service was good as was the food/drinks and the live musical duet was entertaining. I feel I was overcharged for a few items which I will be discussing with management but overall, it was a nice evening.

Really nice ambiance. We sat outside around sunset time and while it was pretty cold, they provided heat lamps and pashminas if we requested. The view was beautiful and there was lovely live music. For an appetizer, we got the crab dip which was arguably my favorite thing of the night. It tasted a little like barbecue which was interesting but was sooo cheesy and savory. My boyfriend got the a+o burger which was good, nothing special. The pasta was interesting, not my favorite definitely an acquired taste. Each component was prepared well there was just a weird aftertaste to it that I wasn't the biggest fan of. Our waitress wasn't the most attentive; we thought the guy bringing us water came by our table more than she did. Pretty nice date night, great for being a first timer but not sure if I would come back.

Not sure why they allowed dogs in the restaurant areas as it was annoying to enjoy the scenery with dogs barking and jumping around in a food establishment The food was average rating I think pricey for the apps. Loved the location. Drinks were perfect.

Ready for a seriously fabulous vibe?!! Breakfast/Brunch at A+O is what all of our resort staycation dreams are made of... I highly recommend sitting out by the water, to get the best view possible, the staff is always so helpful at recommending what to get off the menu, I opted for the avocado toast (minus the eggs & cheese to veganize it), paired with the overnight oats (chia seeds, almond milk, strawberry + chocolate delight!) with their fresh squeezed OJ & their delicious green machine smoothie!

Came here for brunch on Monday. We enjoyed the food and the service very much! The weather was cloudy so we sat inside. Pamela was so sweet and attentive. She serviced us things even before we asked. Her service was so great that I wanted to leave a review and let her know that we appreciated everything. Thank you, Pamela!!

The food was terrible. The fish in the Fish tacos was bad. We sent it back. The Braised Short Ribs were very fatty and a couldn't eat them. Service was terrible. Not a good experience I remember when The Balboa Bay Club had a wonderful fine dining restaurant. Now it's more like bar food. And the bar tender couldn't even make a good Old Fashion. Will not go back until they have a new restaurant To many great restaurants on Newport Beach. And much better bars to go too. The Balboa Bay Club is not what it used to be.
Love the most beautiful ocean views and all the luxury ships that drive by.

Our dinning experience was wonderful. We sat outside and there was a person playing the guitar and he had a lovely voice. Fantastic song choices. Our guest visiting from Whales had a wonderful time. We had our Corgi and mini poodle with us which is a plus when they can go out with us.
We we checked in early so we were seated at the bar. Alone 30 minutes later we checked with the hostess and she said our table was given away. We were later shoved on a table outside and we were freezing. The hostess was so rude and unfriendly. I kept telling the other one which was new that it was ok and the main hostess was very abrupt even though we did nothing wrong. The food was great and our waitress was wonderful.
