I would like this seller to be taught, firstly, to say hello when people come in to buy goods, and secondly, to hand out ice cream with respect, and not with a dismissive look towards the client.... I'll check it next time, if it happens again, I will write a review every day until the customer service standard guidelines pass. The other girls are always polite.

I was very sad when the location at the triangle closed. Happy to see that there is another location in Costa Mesa This one isn't as busy as the one in Irvine which I like. Must try flavors: Cookie Monster and Ube Brownie. Always get the milkshake. You can freeze the leftovers and enjoy the ice cream the next day when you get full.

We arrived pretty late at night and yet the staff was still welcoming and patient, which I really appreciate. There wasn't really any seating available inside but there are several tables and chairs outside, which is convenient. I was very excited to try Afters for the first time as I had heard tons about how good it was. After trying multiple flavors, none of which particularly stood out to me, I ordered one scoop of the mint ice cream in a waffle cone. I'm a big fan of mint-flavored ice creams and the color was very captivating, capturing that "monster" vibe. I definitely have to acknowledge that for one scoop, the portion was very good. However, I didn't really think was necessarily that special nor lived up to the hype unfortunately. I might be back if I'm in the area, but I wasn't impressed to the point where I'd actively seek this spot. I definitely want to give props/stars for the service though!

I've always seen and heard about After's Ice Cream on social media so I knew we needed to try it since we were in the area. We were able to get samples before ordering and I ended up getting a scoop of jasmine milk tea and my boyfriend got a scoop of milk and cereal. I personally loved the jasmine milk tea! It was soft, smooth and the flavor was right on. The spoons are wooden and I think that makes the ice cream taste better. I highly recommend stopping by for a sweet treat if you're in the area!

I've been to this location maybe four times, of these four times, three of them have been largely unpleasant owing to the absolute vile, and subtly racist affect of the cashiers. We are never greeted, and today we were told that we had reached our "limit" after three small tastings... a remark I have never received in a visit to any icecream establishment. The last time we came to this location was in 2022, and after another subpar experience, we vowed never to return, However, as a firm believer in forgiveness, we wanted to give them another chance today. Bad idea! Nothing has changed. Absolutely piss poor customer service and obvious profiling by the employees. If you like to be treated well, do not come here. There are a host of superior icecream shops not only in the realm of TASTE but in employee etiquette. Save your money, at least the McFlurry's come with a tepid greeting. Shameful. These lazy desserts are not worth it!

Was treated poorly here a number of times. Each time I have gone the employees act as though it is a burden to serve me. I have never been greeted or asked if I would like anything. Once I approached the counter with a smile and the employee looked at me with distaste and asked someone else to serve me. Today I asked to try 2 flavors and was immediately told that would be all the samples I could have. It makes the experience of eating the ice cream unpleasant and not worth the high prices. Will not be returning.

Came into location at 9-28-23 at 9:22pm. Walked into location notice women in tye-dye tshirt, with curly hair sitting. Never said hello, never greeted us, just stared at us until we ordered. Didn't feel welcome when I walked in. If you do not like customers service jobs do not work it. Customer service is expected when people are coming into place of business. Saying hello and greeting people isn't hard. Younger generation need to learn common courtesy. Ice cream is good, customer service sucked. The guy was really nice tho. Shoutout to him
I didn't find anything interesting to say about my visit. I tried the Brownies and Cookies and Cream ice cream flavors, but they were just too sweet for my taste. I don't plan on returning. However, I believe the shop has potential to improve its ice cream offerings, and I hope they consider offering a wider range of flavors to cater to different preferences.

My p*** was neon green after eating almost an entire pint of the Cookie Monster ice cream it was pretty good though I just couldn't stop pooping for like a day straight

Ice cream good, but not the best l've ever had, plenty others nearby. Understand that as an occasional seating cafe with outdoor seating, they don't have to have a bathroom for kids, but hey, it would be nice. Mostly just pissed l had to pay 4 dollars for a small pure life purified water that's way less than a buck nextdoor at Ralph's, because they don't even have cold water for paying customers (and it isn't cheap ice cream). Service is also not a strong suit. Ambiance bland, not happy or bright as an ice cream place should be.
