My husband and I found this place during a road trip and were so happily surprised. The fish was incredibly fresh and tasty and at such reasonable prices! We both had salads and were very pleased with the portions and freshness! Highly recommend!

Not worth it!! Food was mediocre but somewhat tasteless. The worst part was waiting over an hour for food when everyone else waited maybe 15-20 minutes. The employees were all rude and dismissive and didn't actually care about us. We got the "it will be right out" answer several times when clearly nobody cared. After that experience, l'll never go back.

My favorite place to go for some great fish in a casual environment. I usually order the poke bowl which is fantastic, but the fish burritos are good too. The guacamole is great to start with. Highly recommend.

Friends kept recommending this spot, stopped in one afternoon for lunch. Seafood and service was very good, fish taco was great no complaints. I'm not a fan of farmed seafood for obvious reasons, most of their fish is wild caught?Ordered chips and guac, guac was bland which was disappointing but they served what is easily the most stale quality restaurant chips I've ever had. Cross between dry cardboard and corn. Best description I can give. A bag of tostitos would have been an upgrade tbh. Hoping they work on that

Beautiful renovation but terrible food. The clam chowder was so thick with flour it was basically solid. Very unappetizing. The cioppino had plenty of meat but tasted like someone added in ketchup because it was really sweet which is frankly just very weird. Do the chefs here even know how to cook properly here? The fish taco, ceviche and guacamole had very little flavor and the tortilla chips were like Trader Joe’s or Costco quality. $65 for a lunch we threw away. The best part about lunch at Bear Flag Fish Co was the breadsticks ordered from the pizza place next door afterwards. Seriously avoid this place. Very bad first experience - never again.

The Bear Flag fish tacos were delicious. The Ahi Poke was good and fresh but didn't have a lot of flavor.
When the food was not prepared as requested to accommodate a food allergy, staff argued to the point that I just wanted to leave the dismissive attitude. I refused any refund. After 3 years of enjoying Bear Flag, I'm permanently done.Dietary restrictions: Not accommodating allergies.

Super delicious! Got the small fish plate and the specialty burrito. Both were tasty but the favorite was the fish plate! Got the Opah with salad and veggies. Veggies were SO GOOD and complimented the grilled fish perfectly.

The facelift you did to the restaurant is amazing. I mean breathtaking, but this is when I say I wish you never did because your food suck right now. I was so disappointed I mean since when tuna pokey is brown, and SinceWhen fish burrito has barely 1 ounce of fish in it and tasteless, it’s a shame that nobody’s watching what’s going on in the kitchen I will never go back and I have been a loyal customer for a long time. Good luck.

The first time I went there I thought because they were just opening the service was 50/50 especially if you compare it with Huntigton beach one big difference in the service and the way they grill the shrimp .the Huntigton Beach One is more juicy and they peel off the shells too they don't serve it with the shelf when you ask for grilling shrimpAnd not easy at this branch to get the boxes to go napkins forks knife plates and the nacho chips too you have to ask for every little thing

This is a great place to get food. You don’t have to wait long for a table. The food is excellent. I always get fish tacos , and chips and get their not too spicy sauce. Their tacos are great.i haven’t tried the other food, but it all looks good.
