Hungry after a long night, I didn't get a picture until I had already started at it. I was having some stomach issues and didn't want anything to heavy. I figured the avocado toast would be a safe option. It was yummy, the bread was a bit dry. Had tons of very fresh avocado, probably as thick as the bread itself. Wish it came with some seasoning but I made do with the table salt and pepper. I also had some sausage links, they were juicy and huge. Cooked well and had that satisfying snap to them.The staff members where super friendly and the restaurant itself seemed updated and modern, as well as clean which is sometimes a rare luxury on a beach. My sister and my mom got breakfast burritos, they both only ate half and had to save the rest for later but thoroughly enjoyed them! Just a really big portion size. It was pretty expensive though considering what we got.

It's Charles Chili, a fixture in Newport Beach for a very long time. Once upon a time, they also had a restaurant in Costa Mesa that was only a block from my apartment. I used to spend a lot of time there. I sincerely love this restaurant. I love the food. I love the attitude. I love everybody that works there!!! Honestly, I've been going to this place for over 50 years. They have a place in my life and in my heart. And finally, a Charlie's Chili Cheese omelet with hash browns and a side order of toast is just about the best hangover cure known to mankind. Trust me. I know.Rock on Charlie's. Service was quick and friendly and the food was incredible not to mention the great atmosphere. I'd go out of my way to come back and have another grilled chicken

I just want you to know that your restaurant saved my vacation. I had multiple people who needed to use the restroom and you convenient location prevented unpleasant accidents. Secondly I forgot my phone in your bathroom and your staff kept it safe until I returned for it. If I'm ever back in Newport Beach I will eat there again.

Awful, I spent an hour waiting for chili and salad. The salad was old and bland, the chili was water. One of the worst experiences at a restaurant in years, avoid at all costs, you are better of getting McDonald's or Taco
