We decided to go to Harborside restaurant for dinner after our Whale watching with Davey Jones tours because it is literally steps away from the dock. I will begin with what we enjoyed and wrap up my review with the things we didn’t.First, We were a party of four and were seated right away. Our waitress was kind and the manager was super friendly. The view from our window booth was great. The ambiance was nice and the historical photos all over were so fun to look at.The food is gross. Two of us ordered crab, one ordered halibut and one ordered meatloaf. The crab was almost entirely knuckle meat which is normally turned into crab cakes or used in another recipe. But when you pay super inflated prices for the crab, you expect high quality. One plate that was all knuckles was sent back and replaced. So while waiting for replacement crab, most restaurants will place the defective item on a separate plate so the person has something to eat while waiting. This place took her whole plate away. So we all waited while our food got cold for the other party to get her plate of food. The manager apologized and explained that the cooks didn’t know there was a difference between legs and knuckles. The other person who ordered the crab just ate it anyway. The crab comes with rice “pilaf” and veggies. The pilaf is revolting and tasted like rice with bell peppers and not much else. The veggies were just ok. The halibut was a bit dry, and the side of sauce it came with had weird bits of what looked like fur in it. Turns out it was burnt bits of fish. The halibut is served with “risotto”. I have no idea how risotto is made, but I’m quite certain glue is NOT one of the ingredients in any risotto recipe. That stuff was sticky, tasted like someone spilled an herb rack into the batch and was disgusting. I have had it other places before and this one is the worst ever. My husband had meatloaf which is described as having barbecue sauce on it. But the sauce that came on top tasted like nothing but tomato sauce and was just plain nasty. The manager said it’s because it’s home made. I have made barbecue sauce from scratch before and it was excellent, so “home made” is no excuse. When the bill came we were shocked that the manager didn’t make adjustments at all even though things were brought to her attention that should have better. There are many other restaurants nearby. I wish we had gone to one of them instead. We will not be back. This place is charging gourmet prices for food I wouldn’t serve in prison. Shame on you!

We were at the side for Valentines Day, we've been customers for years more than 20 as a matter of fact, so when my lovely wife commented about are meal she was attacked by other patrons, we are not spoiled children we are 60 yrs.old. her meal was fantastic salmon and mashed potatoes, I ordered the sirloin,I have eaten thousands of steaks, it was boot leather did not eat it or take it home, we love this place, the coconut shrimp appetizer was dreadful, cold over cooked and tough, ok bad night we will still come we love you guys but for a 240$ tab I thought the people of your place would appreciate the feedback. Those of you attacking my wife grow up. See you soon.R G

Cute little spot with a beautiful view of the water and boats. Our server was very friendly and we came when it was not too busy (late lunch) so service was fast.I really liked the flavor of the ahi tuna nachos. The fish and chips were OK, batter and crispiness was not mind-blowing.

Excellent experience all the way around! We had a party of 5 and a half (9month old ?, 4 year old, and 4 adults). We did make reservations, but for mid week in the off season it wasn't necessary. The fish tank at the entry kept the 9MO entertained for the bulk of the visit. The hostest was super sweet and gave us all the info on the cute fish in the tank. Salomon was our server and he was amazing! His service was stellar. Everything came out exactly as ordered, even the items with food allergies. He was attentive without being annoying. We started with the shrimp cocktail and artichoke wontons - perfection! The seafood salad, lobster bisque, linguine, and kid's Mac n cheese were excellent (the adults may have eaten more than the kid...)!! We didn't try any desserts (kids), but if those are as good as the food, dive it a go!Dietary restrictions: Very good with our onion allergy

Someone needs to step into the kitchen & show the line cook how to make scampi. Dry , overcooked in watered milk not butter no garlic. Horrible. I told the server he said I will let him know. Let who know? No manager on premises.

Wonderful view and we had great service. We've always enjoyed coming here. The food was very good. We had the lobster bisque and the clam chowder. Both were good. We shared the Caesar salad, which was crisp and tasty, and we shared the chicken creamy pesto pasta that was very satisfying, our server was very attentive, and the food was presented promptly, considering the location and the quality of food and the ambience of the restaurant. We felt that we got very good value for our dollar spent.

So LOVE this restaurant. Every time I am in town, I come here. 4 times this week so far. Everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful and they always greet me with a big smile and hello. Thank you so much.

The bartender was our server and he was way too busy, poor guy. Took forever to get our food they forgot some of it had to go up to the bar to order more drinks?? Been here before and have always gotten good service? It was a Tuesday of all days and had just told someone about Harborside (how good they are) in the parking lot they were from Phoenix. ?‍♀️
