As always, the food was delicious and top quality. Bandera's rotisserie chicken was moist, flavorful, and worth the high tab. The servers and staff members were unfailingly friendly and efficient. When a salad was served incorrectly, a manager quickly came to our table to apologize, and she promised to make it right. We were impressed by her attentiveness and sincerity. When the check arrived, the salad had been removed from the bill. Although not necessary, this demonstrated the lengths that this restaurant will go to keep customers satisfied and loyal. Having an experience like this was so refreshing, especially when we have witnessed service deteriorating across the board since COVID. There is no question that the staff members at Bandera truly care about their customers. Bravo, Hillstone!

A friend and I were walking on the beach and stopped in on a whim. Fortunately, we were early and easily got a table. The food is pricey, but the quality was excellent. I had the crispy chicken sandwich that was paired with an ever-so-finely chopped kale slaw, fresh tomato, and Swiss cheese, piled neatly on a bun, and shoestring fries on the side. The sandwich came in three pieces, making it easy to eat. I had enough for dinner the next night. My companion had the French dip, and unlike a previous poster’s experience, I was told it was delicious. The staff were young, attentive, and professional, and we never felt rushed, though the restaurant was jam-packed by the time we left. Great experience all around.

Yummy wood-fire grilled food. Generous portions and great service. It was packed, so get reservations in advance. Loved the rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, guacamole, filet mignon, and the chocolate mouse. Everything was really yummy! We would go back sometime. Great local spot.

We have dined here many times over the years and this is one of our favorite special restaurants. This visit was a little less than the extraordinary service we have come to expect. The reservation was set and we received the reminders from the automated system just fine. We arrived on time. The reception and seating was prompt, very professional and friendly. We waited for our server about 10 minutes, orders a drink and an ice tea. The drink came right away and 15 minutes later the server came to the table and asked for our order. We placed our order and I requests she check on the ice tea. Complete surprise! She left it sitting g in the bar and forgot about it. The food came quickly and was well prepared and extraordinary as always. Best cornbread in the country! We were. He led on by our server during our meal(fine) but she brought the check while we were still eating. The server is new and needs training on the cadence of the process for the guests visit. All in all the meal was great as always but the service was not. We are repeat customers and hope you will supply additional training to this employee to make our visits here fabulous like we have experienced in the past. Thank You

We went here for the first time the other evening and had a wonderful experience with our server Jana and team! My wife and enjoyed all of the dishes. The cornbread, and artichokes are a must to start with. I had the Hawaiian rib eye and she had the salmon. Both five stars! We will be returning!

What an amazing dinner.RibEye steak, Mash Potatoes, Corn Bread and Artichoke and was all so good. I'm only rating what I ate but all agreed everything was so deliciously good. You have to have the Corn Bread, the best in the world . Compliments to our waitress Sierra and the Manager JORDAN, both were graciously attentive and nice . Great Job and will continue to patronage Bandera. Thank you guys for your hospitality and kindness. Will continue to come.

Am I the only one disappointed Bandera is no longer allowing take out orders? They're the best! Limiting to dine in only is a real bummer!
Back after COVID and the menu is limited. I went there for Tri Tip and enchilada and it was taken off the menu. The service, other food and drinks were all great, but they are now missing this big item on the menu.

Quick fix with delicious meals! I haven't tried everything but that grilled artichoke though and the cheese enchilada!!!! Uhm mm mmhm I love!! Waitress Taylor is wonderful. She's friendly and helpful. Must try this place if you haven't already done so! :)

If I can put 0, I would do it!!! Poor customer service! I came from LA to visit this place and they didn't allow us inside. There were 2 families and we asked 2 tables for 4 two adults and 2 kids. But they said we are not allowed because there are 8 people, even though we explained that we are 2 different families. We asked Jordan the manager and she still didn't want to allow us or give us a table. I even told her that we will sit right now ourselves and in 5-10 minutes our friends will come and get another table. But they were stubborn and give us stupid answers. Terrible service! Terrible. Terrible! If I knew I would not drive 2 hours to get here!!!!!

I'be been meaning to check out Bandera. So glad I did! My best friend and I went in for dinner on a Tuesday and were waited on by Alexis. She blew us away with how attentive, knowledgeable, and dedicated she was. All the staff members were extremely accommodating and kind. The ambiance was wonderful, and so was the food. We will definitely be back!! * Please offer more healthy/clean dietary varieties such as dairy-free, soy-free, grain-free items. Perhaps a nice coconut milk-based seasonal soup.
