Never a miss with Ike’s ? 111. With Dutch crunch, everything on it, added avocado, all the freebies, chips, and root beer. Staff were nice and busy. Some tables and floor messy, men’s bathroom urinal almost overflowing and maybe needs maintenance? Just sharing my experience. Always down for Ike’s ??
I wanted to start off this review and say I was a regular customer at this Ike's. I work right down the street I frequently get catered lunches from this Ike's location for my work all the time and have been coming here the past 3-4 years I usually get my lunch daily from here and stop to use the restroom on my way home. I live in LA and work in Newport / Costa Mesa so I use the restroom here before I go home. Today on 2/29/24 around 5:45-6 I go to this Ike's location to use the rest room. The person working was a taller husky gentleman with black hair. I asked politely to use the rest room and he said "No" with a huge smile on his face saying "customers only you have to buy something" i thought he was joking because it was the same person that helped me earlier today. He denied me to use the rest room for 20 secs to pee before I had my long drive back to LA. This will b the last time I ever eat at this Ike's location and I'm already contacting cooperate to let them know how poor of customer service this establishment has. Very disappointed because I loved Ike's and would come to the Newport location daily. It will be the last time I ever go there or get catering for my job I'm also going to advise all my coworkers not to support or go there any more. I felt very embarrassed and felt profiled. I was in work attire and the gentleman looked me up and down and said no.

This is a really good sandwich place. I split two sandwiches (1/2 each) and it was so much food that I could not finish and was really full, which is a great thing. Nothing worse than leaving hungry. I had the Matt Cain (so much delicious meat) and the Megage A Trois (it was all combined into a delicious coagulation of flavors). The Dutch Crunch bread really elevates the sandwiches. Plus they serve Zapp's chips. I will be back.

Great food and service will be recommending to all friends and family. Manager helped me choose the sandwich. Especially because they had an assortment of choices. Couldn’t get his name but thank you for being helpful and nice ?

Walked in at 12pm and placed an order. Received my sandwich at 12:22. Took 22 minutes to get a sandwich; not lunchtime friendly
Don't ask for a "Haal" nor "Vegan" "Vegetarian" sandwich. They will not bother to change gloves. Let alone wash hands. They have these kosher sandwiches, yet will not change gloves. Ignorance at its finest.

Lots of creative sandwich options, however the quality is not good. The fried chicken is essentially frozen chicken nuggets, reminiscent of what I would eat in elementary school.

Delicious!!!! Im not a huge sandwich fan in general but if I ever am in the mood this my go to spot! They have An amazing variety of sandwiches with all kinds of different meats, I don't eat pork or beef so sometimes it's hard to find a good sandwich with out either of those but this place has amazing options with chicken and vegan options! Prices are great sizes of the sandwiches are great and service is great!
