I admittedly got fooled. The prices on the menu made me think that I was going to get a quality experience and great food, but that was the opposite of what happened. Everyone on the upper level where we sitting was complaining about the cold, which was made worse by the how long the wait for the food was, which was made by how mediocre the food was, which was only made worse by the amount of money we spent. On top of everything, my girlfriend and I had to fight for the bathroom when we got home. I have never had a worse dining experience in my life.

Was honestly shocked by our experience. As someone who has years of experience working in restaurants I am hesitant to leave poor reviews but this is worth my time and yours. This experience was one of, if not the worst dining experience my boyfriend and I have had. It was so freezing and the heaters on the second story were not nearly adequate. Every single table moved or completely left after waiting forever for drinks or food. The food was extremely expensive but was honestly awful. The sea bass did not taste like sea bass, half of it was dark fatty meat. The vegetables were inedible. My boyfriend’s potatoes and steak were bad too. We were on a little vacation and chose this restaurant cautiously as it was really expensive and it was a special occasion. Wait staff were absolutely overwhelmed and overworked and we felt bad for them and knew it wasn’t their fault. Absolutely awful. We spent so much money I want to be sick. To top it off, by the time we got to the hotel we were both running to the bathrooms horribly sick. Not very romantic. Really wouldn’t waste my time to write this out if it really wasn’t that bad. It was THAT bad. I really don’t think anything short of a full refund is due. This restaurant disguised itself as a high end destination restaurant. Absolute garbage. So upset.

If you are in the Newport Beach area ⛱️You have to visit Light house café.Children's area and they have a full bar. I recommend the mimosas. These are just some of the most requested liqueurs.

I came in a couple weeks ago and had the absolute BEST beignets ever! The breakfast food and French dip were also delicious. Large portions. The ambience is great. Our server Mary was so kind. Marys service was quick and efficient. Mary was great at anticipating our needs. Can’t wait to go back next time we are in town.Parking: Plenty of parking was available for an early brunch during the week because it is behind a community center. Might be more difficult on the weekend?Kid-friendliness: My 11 year old enjoyed the food and was treated with respect.

It was clear that they were training new staff. Good food, though.

Such a beautiful place to have lunch! I went here for my birthday, and had the most stunning views of the harbor. The food was great, and I enjoyed their hot tea (it was chilly over looking the water). There is parking available in the shared lot- which makes coming here easier as parking can be challenging.

During a pooring rain, we got there with a small service dog. The manager was very unfriendly and put us in the worst table available, while many other options were available. We asked for a better table and he refused, and we left. Terrible customer service. Will never go back to this place. Avoid it if you can.
