Yum, yum and yum. The chicken fried rice was so refreshingly hot, temperature wise. So fresh. And so tasty. We also ordered two different types of pho. A rare beef and well done brisket with cilantro, and also fillet mignon pho. They were delicious. The broth had a lot of depth to its flavor, the meat was perfectly cooked, and they’re extremely generous with the noodles and meat. Often pho is light on anything other than broth, but not here. Great value. Great taste. Food is fresh. And the servers were very polite and professional. Highly recommend.

SO good. The Chicken Noodle Soup was perfect when I was sick. The broth is so nourishing.

Nice quite and. It too busy place to get some Vietnamese food in Newport. Food quality and taste doesn’t come close to the all time favorite bamboo bistro in corona Del Mar but you also don’t have to wait for an hour for a table. Their pho is good and hearty. The Vietnamese spring rolls are ok although the peanut sauce was very runny. Ambiance is nothing to right home about. Also on a Friday night they pretty much close any around 9:30. No alcohol served but you can bring your own beer which is really nice.

This was my second time visiting Lotus Bistro and I got the same meal, Banh Xeo, because it's the best one I've had!!!! Perfectly crispy savory crepe with a lot of yummy fillings (bean sprouts, tofu, veggie chicken) and fresh crisp lettuce/mint on the side. The combination of the sauce, crispy crepe, and fresh veggies is perfection! The owner and staff are also super welcoming and kind! I'll definitely be coming back to try more meals. Highly recommend! :)

My daughters and I decided to try this restaurant. We had a craving for Pho. I have been wanting to try this place for a while since it is less than a mile from my house. It's family owned and they were very welcoming the minute we walked in. To start we ordered the egg rolls. It came with four. Perfect for our group. I ordered a large meat ball Pho, one daughter had the flank steak Pho and the other had the shrimp Pho. The broth was amazing! You can taste the love in it. They placed the side of bean sprouts, jalapeños, lime etc on a plate to share so we could add to our soup. One daughter finished her soup. I took mine home because my eyes were bigger than my stomach but I can't wait to have the rest later today. The service was great. There are more items on the menu I look forward to trying. We will certainly be back.

First time here and would definitely come back and try all the other goodies here. The shrimp roll was delicious and went well with the peanut sauce. The #49 was also good. The chicken was tender and everything that went with it was on point. The service is very cute and traditional. It's a cute little spot hidden off old Newport blvd.

Wow! I didn't know this place existed. I came here today on 9/4 and ordered egg rolls and the large house special. There is enough meat and noodles in the bowl to fill me up. The pho tasted great and the egg rolls were crisp and full of flavor. My friend had the rice dish with grilled pork. He said everything tasted great and was fresh. The service was great. My friend used to live in this area and says this place is great for take out. I will be definitely back to try their other items on the menu.

Staff was very friendly and my pho was great! My husband got the fried rice with beef and had enough beef for every bite! Prices and good for the area. Will definitely be returning for date night.

A friend of mine had several items from the menu delivered to the house. Of course nothing is as good as when you eat it at the restaurant, but this stuff was good and we've ordered again. We had the Shrimp Vermicelli which was pretty standard, no complaints. Pork chops with broken rice, good. Beef stew was good, meat was a little tough, but overall flavor was good and French bread that came with it was crunchy on the outside soft on the inside. Fried rice was basic, but again no complaints. Good food for not being in Little Saigon, but you can find same or better all around Westminster.

We love lotus bistro. This is our go to restaurant when we are craving PHO! I highly suggest the Chicken Noodle Soup, this broth is so flavorful and comes with garlic, onions, and shredded chicken. We're do dedicated that we literally drive from Costa Mesa all the way down to Newport just for this particular soup! Highly recommend

Tasty! They use the freshest ingredients. My fav is the Rare Beef Pho! Always delicious! It just might be the best pho in Newport Beach! And reasonable prices!Service is fast and friendly! They do take out as well! The decor is nice and peaceful with lanterns. Almost feels like you’re in SE Asia.

Honestly, the food was just not good. And they forgot part of my order. Should’ve known it wasn’t gonna be good when I saw curry on the menu for a Vietnamese restaurant.
