I stopped by for lunch during the week it was so delicious. I love Italian food it’s so delicious. I tried the lobster ravioli Yum Yum I look forward to having more. I love the vibe of this restaurant. The staff was amazing and helpful. I highly recommend visiting you will love it.

I like Italian restaurants and this is one of the best in town. I highly recommend the pasta. I got the Mario's special (chicken penne) and the meat lovers pizza. I got the tiramisu for deessrThe service is always fast and friendly and attentive here. They also have other things on their menu like sandwiches, salads and other things. I can't wait to try more of their other dishes.It's hard to find parking in Newport Beach and I'm glad they have their own free parking lot.The interior is has a very elegant vibe. It complements the experience really well

Stopped for lunch with my sister and our 2 year old son. The food was delicious. The chicken cacciatore was amazing, and I split it with my husband. We also ordered garlic cheese bread AMAZING! My sister had a Cob salad that looked super yummy. Our son loved the French fries, and the atmosphere was very nice. The staff was super friendly, and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.

This is a friendly neighborhood, Italian restaurant. They serve everything from pasta, pizza, sandwiches and off the grill and more! Service is always very fast and friendly. They have inside seating and outside seating. I like the outside seating area by the fire.Their pizza is always top-notch. I especially love the mafia pizza and the meat lovers. The chicken and salmon kebab from the grill with grilled veggies are great alternatives for carb-less meals.Plenty of Free parking in the shared lot.

So I ordered a cheese calzone and what I got served was a mishmash of pizza and cheese. Sorry but a calzone is not a pizza, not made of thick pizza crust, and is most always folded. Plus the sneaky credit card fee added on top without disclosure. I did not appreciate.

Not sure why this place is rated so high. Location that caters to visitors maybe? I don't know. What I do know is that the cheese pizza I ordered came out to be very underwhelming. Bland sauce, little cheese and where the heck is the crust?? I am a bit of pizza snob so take it for what it is.

Just moved back to the area last week. Didn't feel like cooking tonight, so we walked up the block and ordered Mario's. Hoping to find our new go-to place for Italian.My wife ordered fettuccine Alfredo. Very polite girl at the register asked if she wanted chicken in it and she told her "No, I'm a vegetarian". Pictured here is all the chicken we had to pull out of her pasta before she could eat it. Pizza wasn't bad. But...we won't be back. Ah well.

I stopped in for a bite to eat between my shifts today....I'm so glad I did! this was the best lasagna I have ever tasted! just don't tell my mom, lol. the staff was pleasant and the food was piping hot and the lasagna actually had meat inside and not just a meat sauce. the cheese, the noodle shells, and the seasoning l was authentic and perfect to taste. Please go here and ask for the lasagna lunch special. I ate inside and the atmosphere was so relaxing and peaceful.

Mario's is a great, casual place for classic Italian, comfort food. They offer a variety of pizzas by the slice or whole, as well as salads and pasta. The pizza was crispy and the penne arrabiata was delicious with just the right amount of spice. Great wine selection as well! The service was excellent -- very speedy and welcoming. The ambiance was casual with a TV for sports and a few tables. I would recommend this as a family friendly restaurant to visit for familiar, tasty, and reasonably priced Italian food.
