Against our better judgement we recently joined friends at this establishment for a drink and a bite. Per usual, Mutts never lets us down with their inedible food offerings. While we certainly enjoy the atmosphere, we cannot stomach the food the kitchens put out at either Mutts location. It's actually becoming somewhat of a joke amongst our group of friends - we honestly believe they intentionally serve garbage food in order to turn their tables more quickly in order to sell more alcohol. It's really the only explanation for food this bad. Something as basic as a burger is just wrong, the meat simply has no flavor. It seems they try to disguise the lousy meat with a plethora of toppings. Even worse is the ribeye on the menu, full of fat and extremely chewy. Not surprising the fries were under-cooked, and served cold. The table next to us told us to stay clear of the pizza because of how bad it was. We will still stop in here occasionally for a beer, however we're sadly done with the food at either Mutt's.

Went here recently and had the pleasure of meeting the absolute sweetheart Monica as my server. She was very well spoken had, great recommendations on the food. Which did not disappoint. With a beachfront view. Couldn't imagine a better way to drink my day away.

Nice local place but "shrinkflation" has turned it into a ripoff. My fish and chips platter today was more appetizer size, with three tiny fish-stick-sized pieces of fish and only a handful of fries. smaller plates too, i guess to disguise the shrinking portions. and only $20 -- or $7 each -- for a tiny piece of fried fish. My friend's cobb salad has also been shrunk to nearly dinner-salad size -- for just $18!!! Even our waiter was surprised and sympathetic, but still a very overpriced lunch for small, mediocre portions. Time for something new.

Overwhelming scent of Fabuloso is a stomach turner Wow has this place gone DOWN. But the prices have gone UP! We've lived in eastbluff for a decade and used to love this place for great food, drinks and patriotic ambiance. But the last year it has really become ... not so good. We first started noticing the cleaning odor about a year ago , but it would dissipate once inside the restaurant. Not this time. We smelled it the entire meal. Strike one. Then onto the food. We love the Joe Dirt Pizza, and crave the chicken frisco sandwich, for the thick yummy juicy grilled chicken breast, the crispy bacon, avocado and fluffy crisp sourdough bread. Stroke Two. The "chicken breast" on my sandwich was a piece of totally flat possibly lab grown chicken.. since when is a chicken breast pink?? It looks like ham. The whole sandwich was flattened like a pancake and looked like it was run over by a Mac truck. I've had better food at Jack in the Box! The fries were hard and dry, and the lettuce was shriveled. Then the ambiance- they had the music so loud we were yelling. It was ridiculous. The juke box is one of our favorite things about Mutts, but strike three. So sad to say, We won't be rushing back, if we ever go back.

This is my go to pub now. I still like the old place but this is a lot cleaner and the foods just as good and not as crowded.

Service by Sarah- phenomenal!!!!! Love that you can bring your doggy Espresso martini is to die for !! Bottomless mimosas/ so good We had the Cruz / ok/ if you're not used to real chorizo/ it is super rich, and way too much sauce The Sweet potato fries are cooked perfectly if you like them cooked The Joe dirt pizza was really good. This place is so cute and secluded. It's the bougie version of mutt lynches. The food is so good and the service is always good.

Really good service, nice ambiance, and an ambitious menu highlights a pretty nice restaurant in a Eastbluff strip mall next to Ralphs. We can only report on the pizza, and fish and chips, they were both delicious, and well portioned. The prices are 2024 reasonable, which is to say double 2021 reasonable, but what the heck. The service is kind and efficient, and it has a warm, inviting interior with a large bar dominating the entrance. So, yeah, I'd come back.

Family friendly neighborhood restaurant. Great service with a varity of options on the menu. All American menu includes fish chicken and beef, as well as vegetarian options. We found them to be very flexible about customizing our food orders to accomate preferences and allergies.
