We were in town for a few days and found this little mom and pop sushi house. It was just opening, and there were no customers yet. When we arrived, we were sat down by the owner he said, "Come in order and pay first when we were ordering and asked for rice instead of noodles in the soup he was hesitant When he looked to the back and told the cook.Which was his wife! What we wanted She threw a big fit and started throwing pots and pans around the kitchen. And stared yelling at him in their language. Then he tells us, "we can not do that."We said we couldn't have noodles she came out of the back and got nasty with us. We told her why can't you accommodate an allergy. She said, "You didn't say that you said you can't have them." And turned it into an argument. Very unprofessional of her.. The husband was not that way. He was trying to keep the situation from escalating.. So he returned the money to the rest of our party and we left? As we were going out the door, she followed us out, yelling at us. "Calling us bad customers."

All for supporting small businesses, but couldn't help but give a poor review. All the negative reviews about the poor customer service and the credit card reader that doesn't allow you to Continue unless you "add a tip" is all true. I am a firm believer about giving a good tip when good customer service is rendered, but don't ask me to tip you before. My family and I spent $175.00 for our meal including 5 bottles of soda from their fridge. All sodas were flat and expired. When I Informed theOwners and showed them the expiration date they didn't believe me and was extremely rude, saying that that was date it was manufactured LOL Then why was there other bottles that had future dates on it? Anyways, they refused to believe me and left all the other bottles in the fridge for other customers. If they neglect to remove the expired drinks how do I know they haven't done the same with their food! Happy to report this to the State Health Dept. Not surprised they had issues in the past. Beware!

Definitely a 3 start spot. The service was very poor and people were not helpful. I felt like I was on my own the whole time trying to navigate the menu and didn't know we had to order then sit down. Very different. The food was just okay and I would not recommend this place to anyone. The outside benches were nice to use if they became available.

This was a pretty decent sushi spot within walking distance from the beach, however it's a little pricey. There's a few tables that you can sit at outside, which unfortunately comes along with having to deal with quite a few flies. The sushi quality was good & the gyoza was my favorite! I'd come back to try the poke.

Very pricey for eating out of a paper bowl, the ramen was ok. The place was pretty empty i think it is more of a take it to go kind of place. You pay upfront before getting your food too which is strange. The food came out super fast i think they must store it in a freezer.

Had some sushi, some tempura, and some ramen! guess what? it was all smack so good. We enjoyed a California roll and a baked salmon roll, both rolls were great and i highly recommend the salmon! The rolls weren't too large either and perfectly bite sized. The tempura was so so good, as well as the ramen. The patio is so adorable especially once the lights turn on at sunset. The inside is pretty minimal, so i recommend the patio. The service was good, when you come in they hand you menus and you go take a seat. Once you decided you go back up to the register order and pay. Note you do need to grab your drinks from the fridge, overall i loved it and i'll be going back :)
