Lol this place is a joke. They rest on the laurels of the ambience. Everything else is low grade. The food was the most disappointing. Everything was bland as hell. The “crispy” tacos were not crispy. The fry on it was sad, as if it was just sitting in low heat oil. No color no flavor. The cheese was cold, not melted or browned. Everything read basic. The taste of the head chef must be lacking because the food came out quick, but the way it was made was bland, not worth indulging in.The service is also non-existent. We could never find our waitress. She was always hiding somewhere and the other staff, which there was a lot of, were just standing around as if they don’t see we need service. They don’t try to help each other, which is really sad. A good restaurant focuses on customer service first, not silo staff responsibilities. The decor and interior was great but none of us would ever come back just for that. The food and service was 0/10.What a waste of time and money. We saw all the great reviews on TikTok by influencers but after eating here, we seriously think the restaurant sponsored those reviews. There is no way in hell anyone would pay a premium price for bland food and terrible service. lol the entitlement on this place is hilarious. We all were not full and instead enjoyed some in n out afterwards.

Good food and drinks. Super slow service, even at 4pm. Took 40min to get our drinks. Couple next to us had the same issue. Finally cancelled the second drink after waiting 45min after our entrees arrived (and we were finished) Took 25min to get our plates cleared. This place would make a lot more money (and survive) if they could figure out how to serve drinks within a reasonable time. All in all, we were there for 1:45min for two entrees, two drinks, and chips/salsa. Besides ordering, server came by once to see if we wanted anything else. Hopefully they get it figured out.

Palmilla is super cute & the mojito I had was pretty good. We were disappointed in the food, the steak in the steak quesadilla was very chewy- not very enjoyable. The fish tacos were OK.

Beautiful restaurant and great drinks. They have a spicy mango margarita which was a hit. Home made flour tortillas with the apps are very good. The food however was disappointing. Beef dishes were chewy. The shrimp and lobster (or crab) enchiladas were very good. The server said the salmon was the best thing on the menu which was a red flag. My cousin had the chimichanga which she returned because it tasted funny and she later complained of cramps and got sick. If you like hot sauce the Diablo hot sauce is nice and fiery. The refried beans were tasty.

Here are the pros … beautiful architecture, good food (appreciate the option for vegan cheese which is tasty), good drinks, attentive service.… and the cons: very loud if you’re dining inside on the weekend, our round table was wobbly (quite unexpected when you’re paying a premium for your meal), valet parking ($8 not including tip) is required unless you have a lot of time and patience to search the beach streets for parking and are willing to hike a bit.

The server was nice when someone finally showed up, it took 50 minutes to get 1 margarita. Fish tacos were fine, nothing spectacular.

LOVED my experiences here. Been here multiple times to the bar, community table, and for a reservation at a table. The service is great. Food is immaculate. The drinks are strong enough. The vibe is always cool. Cannot recommend this place as much as I have. Great experience.

Great place, atmosphere & decor is super nice, tasty food, portions - especially appetizers & tacos are very small. Margaritas are great. I would come back but I would suggest to increase portion size. Tacos are delicious but $33 for very tiny lobster tacos is a bit high. Planning to come back to try other things from the menu. Thank you!

The food was phenomenal! When first seated they bring you homemade tortillas paired with their house salsa and a honey butter. DELICIOUS! Also, they serve plantain chips instead of tortilla, super enjoyed! However, the drinks were not my personal favorite as they were average and subtle flavor, in my opinion. But we're gorgeous! (Bonus points!) Nonetheless, the food, presentation of drinks/food, and the restaurant's ambiance were impeccable. The service was very friendly and attentive! WOULD RECOMMEND to a friend! Things to know: -valet parking or street meter parking -Friday & Saturday at 10pm turns into bar setting. Music gets turned up and disco ball turned on

Great Ambiance and food. Weirdly shaped community table makes it a little hard to sit with such big chairs, also which makes it kind of charming. The mixed drinks was a large list so a lot to try and go back for. Good vegetarian options (i.e. more than 3) as well.

Beautiful ambiance! The server was lovely but a bit busy, so it took a while for our order to be taken. My food was delicious; I just wish the temperature was warmer. It would have been nice for the fajitas to be served on a skillet to keep the protein warm. I am looking forward to returning soon with family and friends.

This was on my bucket list of restaurants to try. The ambience is nice and the music was good. The staff was amazing and very welcoming, the valet guy even gave us suggestions before we walked in. The GM made sure we were helped ima timely fashion and continued to check on us throughout the night. I ordered the Paloma but replaced it with Don Julio 70, if you like a tart taste that's the one for you. The Muddled Margarita was great and tasted like fresh spiked fruit juice. The halibut taco was DELICIOUS! The sabor de tres mariscos gave a variety of options to try which I found helpful. Overall, I would definitely recommend and I'll be back. They close the kitchen around 11 and the bar is open to vibe til 2 am. You can dress up or down honestly. Valet is available and parking on the street. 8$ before 4pm and 10$ after.
