Service: The hostess and our waitress were both amazing. Super friendly and makes you feel like you're being served well. She was confident about giving recommendations and always made sure to ask how we the food is. I asked for a Sangria and she suggested white. I took her suggestion and when she gave it to me she had me try it to make sure I liked it. She probably would've switched it out to the red if I didnt. We left our car at the restaurant parking lot and walked over to Pantages for a show. When we got back we ran into our waitress who was just getting off work. She asked me how the show was and made small talk with me we waited for our car. Just all around good vibes!

This place is definitely off my list of dinner joints...the food is just not up to any acceptable standards. I'm not sure if I would consider this Spanish food at all...most of the stuff we ordered was overcooked (bacalao) or undercooked (paella rice) - just not impressed at all. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

After visiting Barcelona a few weeks ago, I started to get a hankering for Spanish tapas. Found this lovely gem in Balboa! This was one of the few local joints that served up paella, sangria, & iberico ham. Really nice service, and the owner Daniel seems like a cool guy with a passion for Spanish and Mexican food. We ordered 2 sangrias (sweet, really good), 1 Americano (Spanish version of an old-fashioned with soda water), albondigas del carne (tender meatballs in tomato sauce, machego and Serrano (Han & machego cheese plate), and seafood paella (huge portion. This was a nice dinner at a cool plate. I would definitely come back.

Mediocre at best. Service was nothing special and the food was average. The most disgusting thing was when the Spanish Meat Balls came out & they were cold to the touch on the inside. I'm not the first Yelp review to experience this. Do they use frozen, pre-cooked or re-heated food? I won't be coming back.

Was excited for authentic Catalan food. However do yourself a favor and skip this. Ordered pizza, patatas, bacalao, gambas ajillo, paella and it was all sub par. Pizza inedible to a small child. Paella grossly undersized not worth the wait. Being in the bathroom half the night was the final point. Hard pass

My wife and myself fell in love with this place!! Romantic and cozy atmosphere and food so good it will almost make you weep with joy! Staff was very friendly and kind and we loved our Waiter Emilio!! The Croquettes are amazing especially the Queso ones, OMG wow! Totally looking forward to going back here a few times while out here on our vacation!! Definitely telling all our friends to check out this spot!!
