Went to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. They were incredible - had a birthday card for her on the beautiful table that we sat at, next to the fireplace. Food, service and atmosphere were exceptional. Can't wait to go back. Valet parking made it so easy on a cool and rainy night. Best!

Beautiful restaurant. The service was attentive and thoughtful. The food was just decent. I had really hoped to have my socks knocked after seeing the interior and the wine/cocktail menu. I didn't have cocktails as it was a work day but they looked excellent.

We have been coming to Red O for years and is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. However, last week we went and I were very disappointed in the elimination of the bean dip appetizer as well the lobster and shrimp enchiladas. Unfortunately, as a result we won't be going as much and will probably go to Calo Mexican restaurant in either South Coast Plaza or Laguna Niguel. Management should reconsider eliminating those unique dishes. Calo does a better job.

This place used to be my favorite spot until they removed the black bean dip and took off the shrimp and lobster enchiladas. Now only shrimp. They also decreased the menu. I will now frequent Calo at South Coast Plaza and Laguna Niguel for that bean dip. It's delicious!

Beer was ice cold. Food was good, way over priced for Mexican food, in my opinion, but you have to remember where the restaurant is located. The restaurant vibe is always nice here though. Will I be back, yes, for drinks after I eat dinner at home.You definitely have to try once if you've never been here.

This was our first time at Red O, and we will definitely be back! Drinks were amazing, Enchilada Suizas were great! The desserts were HUGE! Whatever you do, ask for Samuel. One of the best servers I've seen. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and made us want to try everything! We will definitely be back and asking for Sam!

I was a bit let down, I haven't been back to Red O in a few years and they made some changes I guess...the portions were ok not really much though like before...and my shrimp enchiladas came with just two small shrimp enchiladas and barely any cheese? The server asked why we were not drinking and we just said we just were not drinking alcohol right now, then pointed out the virgin cocktails...I mean I get it she was offering more options but if she was reading our table none of us wanted anything like that we had already ordered a ice tea and water and she said is that all your drinking tonight? I mean the way she presented it kinda was rude and seemed like she was just trying to up our check for a bigger tip. At the end of the day I won't be returning to Red O anymore. Way better places for me to spend my hard earned money. Hopefully this helps them improve and or you make a decision about going. I was sad to have this type of experience.
We absolutely LOVE this restaurant! We enjoy the personable, friendly, and well executed service the waiters deliver, and always enjoy our food and drinks. The ambiance is lively due to how popular this restaurant is, but you can still comfortably talk to people at your table. It's the perfect Friday night spot to go out with friends on any occasion.

We were invited to the restaurant by the management . But this time we got to try the actual food. Now I understand the delay was because of super busy hours. And the food here is at the highest quality. I came to the place 2 more times. I would recommend this place to everyone with the high food quality appetite.

I highly recommend you making reservations. The food is delicious. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We ordered the tomahawk/lobster Tail place. It's big comes with freshly made tortilla (corn or flour), beans, rice, guacamole and salsa.
