Scratch has great sandwiches, salads, and pastries! The Pot Roast dip is incredible as is the Avocado Romaine Salad with chicken. The pastries are fresh and worth the calories! Little side note - Scratch offers catering and my company has used them many times in the last two years. Michael is prompt with delivery and food quality is outstanding! I highly recommend Scratch for catering office breakfasts/lunches.

Cute coffee shop with good service and lots of seating. Nice place to hang with friends. The knock knock was good, but my macchiato could have been better.

My wife and I were at Fashion Island 3/10/24 and decided to stop in to check the bakery out. We bought one small sack of chocolate chip cookies and one chocolate croissant. Shortly after stepping out their door, we decided to open the sack to try the cookies. I took one bite of the first and only cookie I grabbed, and a clump of human hair was partway in my mouth and hair still inside the cookie! It was gross beyond belief. I walked inside and showed the clerk girl and she looked horrified and voided our transaction. The amount of hair strongly suggests that it was intentional, as it wasn't one single hair. It looked as though someone pulled hair from a hairbrush and placed it into the cookie dough. Never again. The Health Department should close it down.

Great food option at Fashion Island that isn't located in the food court. They offer a great selection of quick traditional breakfast/lunch options. I enjoyed the almond croissant and avocado toast with a fried egg. The avocado toast was well seasoned and tasted fresh. I'll be trying the cinnamon roll next time I'm here! Service was really quick even though they were busy. It's a little pricey for it to be a go-to spot though.

I give compliments to the staff for the effort. But the food was flavorless and unpleasant. The coffee was okay. Nice people but I didn't like the food.

I was excited to get a cup of tea, and I was looking for the great bakery that used to be there, but it looked like it was gone and there was a new place and I was excited to try the new place . I couldn’t figure out why the new place was empty, but after ordering three drinks, two teas and a coffee. I ordered a ginger peach tea and was excited to try it but since I got the medium size drink, the tea was too watered down and needed another teabag when I went and asked for another teabag I was told I needed to pay a dollar for it. My complaint is not about the dollar but about a principal when you sell a five dollar drink can you take hot water and throw a teabag in there the decency you could have a at least make sure that the tea can be brewed properly and sometimes that requires for you to use a little bit more tea so if they really need more than one teabag in there for you to experience the ginger peach tea and they should provide it this explains why there’s no one in the bakery I love cookies however, the cookies look like they were made from scratch a week ago!

Very Busy location for an area with not a lot of activity. I had the Almond Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie, and it was perfect! Ask for it warmed up and you will be very happy. I had just ate an overpriced tasteless cookie from another spot in the mall while looking for this place. I was glad I found Scratch and if I have to return to that area I will return for another cookie and maybe lunch too as the food looked fantastic.Dietary restrictions: lots of optionsParking: as long as the mall is not busy parking is simpleKid-friendliness: no play grounds but friendly enviroment

I came here to try their breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, it was bland and terrible. I didn't taste anything in it except for potatoes and tortillas. They need to put some seasoning in it. If they say they're going to put onions in it, put onions in it. I didn't taste one onion. Just a total waste of money. The chorizo sausage in it was hardly noticeable Had I not had a buy one get one free coupon I would've took it back and asked for a refund.. Definitely would not recommend this. The green salsa was decent.

Made a rare trip,to Fashion Island for a suit order. Since we were early wifey and I decided to grab a quick eat. Scratch Bakery Cafe was a great option. The bread for my egg and cheese is phenom. I say edits like a muffin from that place with a clown times ten. Light with a fine corn meal dusting, american cheese melting just right. Wifey had a spiced chai and almond croissant that she enjoyed tremendously and kept her satisfied until dinner time.

The cafe is on the other side of Bloomingdale's. Just a minute walk - you'll find it.

Very cute little cafe in the mall, ordered a caramel latte and it was perfect. Would definitely want to come back and try some of the delicious looking pastries they had on display! Service was very quick.

Best bakery we’ve ever come across. The cream cheese danish is just superb and the tiger claw will bring us back to Newport again. Not overly sweet and baked fresh daily onsite. Only critique is we don’t have one in our hometown.
