Everyone in our three person party hated their food. The entrees in particular are strange combinations of flavors. The food was not hot and unnecessarily expensive. If you're staying there, eat the bar food. My companion sent her halibut back because it was not hot and randomly placed over chorizo. Just disgusting.

Waited for 50 minutes to get our breakfast. And then, they missed several items from our orders. We requested the missing items but they disappeared again. Obviously, this place is short staffed or they just are burned out.

Thanksgiving dinner was good. Two complaints: 1. It should have come with cranberry sauce 2. It should have come with a dessert. $20.00 extra dollars for a Viennese table, on top of $50.00 for the dinner of just Soup or Salad and Turkey, is ridiculous. Add some cookies or a slice of pie and call it a day. For those who want to over indulge, you can add a Viennese table, but that's extravagant. It should be a 3 course meal, like every other local restaurant.

Great staff who understood that I missed my appointment time for lunch and allowed me to book an evening appointment. After seating me at 6:00pm I was given a menu with a very small option of dinners to choose from. Although the options included beef, chicken and fish, there were no lunch type options, like a hamburger and fries, fish tacos or chicken Italian dishes. However, I ordered the salmon dinner which was delicious with bread. Overall experience was above average.

I had a delicious meal after a day of traveling. It was wonderful to be able to stay on property at the Hyatt for dinner. It was a great night weather-wise and I was able to sit outdoors. Rob was my waiter. He brought a wonderful positive attitude and was helpful with the menu. I had the burrata salad and the lamb. Both were excellent.

Love this place. The servers and chef are the best. Food is delicious!!
Our server, Jose D., provided excellent service. The fish was acceptable, if a little overcooked. We were disappointed that we couldn't have the outside table that we reserved, however. Your hotel was hosting a convention, and Shor had given all outside tables to the attendees rather than honoring reservation commitments.

First of all, we would like to commend Samantha, who acted as a Greeter, and Server during a very busy evening of guests dining in advance of the Jazz Concert that evening. We were visiting from out of state; but had dined here in years past when we both lived in Orange County, and had been previous Season ticket holders to Hyatt Newporter Jazz Concert series. We had always enjoyed our meals and service here. But on Friday, September 16, it was clear that the restaurant was solely understaffed. Even after being seated (we had a reservation), we waiting about 20 minutes between getting water, and having someone (it ended up being Samantha, who we flagged down) to get us a menu and take our food order. We actually saw, and overhead a gentleman handing our concert wristbands , tell patrons that He 'worked in HR, but was just helping out this evening, because of the shortage of staff'. Wow! While we ultimately enjoyed the concert, I'm not sure that we would dine here during the evening of the concert. We do hope this was perhaps a sign of the times, where a lot of restaurants are needing extra help. But it was disappointing to see, when this hotel has had this Jazz Concert series for several years......you know/should know to expect a large crowd right before the concert.

Garlic clams with rosemary bread was amazing! We also had the bread basket as an appetizer and the homemade olive bread was delish I loved the olives. Jay is the best food server and host! We sat outside on the patio and it was perfect.
