I ordered a sandwich that had a pic grey bug in lettuce. It was disgusting. They made me another but it was hard to eat. My sister could not eat her sandwich.I am disgusted the lack of attention to the cleanliness of lettuce. The one lady came to asked what silver fish looked like. She did say she was sorry. My sister and I will not be returning.

Food is very mediocre! My beans came out cold and the rest was luke warm! It’s a fast food place to eat so be prepared for no customer service experience. You order just like a fast food restaurant and take your food and find a place to sit. No server to come even refill coffee! And the food was pretty bland!

Looking for a place to have breakfast, and we found this place, small place and kinda crowded it, I ordered the huevos ranchero, and they were good, but the beans had a weird taste and I didn't eat it, service was good ?

I eat here with my sister at least every other week. We ate here last monday in the morning but we both ordered the Farm Club sandwich. I started eating and after my second bite as I was placing it back on the plate I see a gry bug on my lettuce that was about a 1/2" long. I freaked and put it down quickly on the table. It looked like a Silver fish. I took my entire plate to the kitchen and told them what I had. She asked what I wanted to do. So I asked for they to remake the entire plate.I was happy with the new sandwich but my sister could not eat hers. I took most of mine home and gave it to a homeless person.Your kitchen needs to check the lettuce more because this was too big to have missed if they paid more attention. The place was not busy when we were there. It is sad but we will not be returning because of this. PAY MORE ATTENTION TO YOUR PRODUCE BEFORE MAKING PEOPLES MEALS!!!!!!!!!!!

This place used to be really good. It's definitely on a downhill trend. I personally had the breakfast burrito with scrambled egg, veggies and home fried potatoes inside the burrito... after finding no evidence of any potato in my burrito, I mentioned it to the server who could also not see any potato either so she had to ask the kitchen and the invisible potato was supposedly shredded. Okay as the person eating this and expecting "homeFried potato" there was zero potato in my burrito. The salsa for the burrito also tastes like salsa from a jar and is awful. Would definitely not recommend Stacks anymore unfortunately.

For the past four years, my family has made the pilgrimage to Newport for Thanksgiving week. Every time, I make a point to hit Stacks. I love the food, the outdoor seating, the vibe, and the Mexican Spiced Hot Chocolate. Loco Moco - 9/10 - this is my go to here. Make sure to get it with the Fried Rice. Strawberries and Cream Waffle - 10/10 - best waffle I've ever had (but I do love strawberries!)Banana Pancake - 10/10 - I didn't have this, but my adult daughter said it was the best pancake she has ever had. And she's a pancake nut. Mexican Spice Hot Chocolate- 10/10 - I just love this. I always order it in a to-go cup. Great hot chocolate with a hit of cinnamon.

The banana, macadamia nut pancakes were delicious as well as the coffee and crisp bacon. Service was great and being able to have a choice to sit outside or inside was really nice. We enjoyed the ambiance outside. I highly recommend Stacks Pancake House. S. Ashcraft

It was delicious.Service at the counter: 6/10 i was ordering my food and was letting her input it and then she moved on to asking my husband what he wanted but then i had asked for an ube latte (3x by now) and she looks at me and proceeds to ask my husband for his order. Then she takes my friends order-- still not having put in my drink. 4th times the charm i guess. Service at the tables: 0/10 my friend was waiting at the table for us because she wasn't eating and it's a find-a-seat-for-yourself type of place. We had 8 people and finally had the chance to gather some tables together inside. I had set the tables and chairs up and then order my food but when I returned, my friend told me the waitress who wiped down the tables was upset and angrily wiped it down and was telling my friend that the chair placement won't be comfortable for whoever is going to sit there because it'll be in the way. Understandable-- we were KINDA taking up space but not blocking anything. My friend said to her that she didn't have to be so rude about it (because she was still angrily wiping the table and slamming the bottle of cleanser). Anyway, we ended up moving outside because another bigger table opened up. Food came out quick and we scarfed it down. No pics lol

If you are Black do not eat here. Everytime I added something to my order Hispanic lady kept mentioning price. I told her stop mentioning price and she refused take my order. She definitely reminded me of a evil 5 foot troll, but her karma already here, trash women.
