The event we attended was their Easter Brunch. The buffet was good, and had a lot of good food selections. The servers were polite and attentive. The event manager, Tiffany was very nice, acknowledged us and even took our photo. Kudos to Tiffany. They had easter egg hunt for the young ones, even though it was raining outside. There are three things that I felt could be improved upon -(1) The place was cold. Therefore, the food got cold right away. (2) Drinks - For the price of $78 per person, you would think that coffee would be included. I understand that Mimosas maybe extra, but coffee or tea could have been included. (3) the coffee, which we paid extra for, was served in a paper cup. for a fancy event, they should have used proper mugs or cups. Overall, I would recommend the place.

Sound WAY too loud in theater one. Instant migraine! Seats awful and falling apart- don't reserve C3 or C4.

My wife and I paid $45 at the Lot today to watch the movie Napoleon. Per the Lots website advertising: "State-of-the-art movie theaters that offer comfort with reclining seats and exceptional dine-in service at the touch of a button..." sounded great until we got to theater 3 and looked around to find the purported "luxury seating" to look like the pictures I took below??? Most if not all the seats looked like the pictures. Needless to say, we will definitely not be watching movies at The Lot anymore, luxury or not???

I really enjoy seeing movies here and have been many times. Concerned how much longer they will remain in business as they have much deferred maintenance. You pay $21 for a torn seat !!! Bring a beach towel to sit on.

I've already written an in-depth review of The LOT in La Jolla. In short, that location is the best place to see a movie in San Diego. As luck would have it, the Fashion Island location happens to be across the street from my office for those rare occasions when I'm not working from home. So, I decided to go after work and let traffic cool down before heading back to San Diego. How does the Fashion Island location compare to La Jolla? Very favorably. The theaters are clean, very well maintained and the sound system is crisp and appropriately loud. The food at this location was even better than my experiences at La Jolla. The quality would make this a decent meal even without a movie. And the service was attentive without being disruptive to the film. There is plenty of free parking close by, and the location means you have all of Fashion Island available to enjoy after the show.Is this the best place to catch a movie in Newport Beach? In short, yes.

Nice staff, good sound. Now for the bad:- Seats are in disrepair- Food is "fine" - like airport food- They sold me a full-priced seat with an obstructed view, and no warningI can't go back - and if I do I'll be sure to sit in the middle and eat before. There's no reason to book these disrepair seats - you have a computer system, just mark them taken.

Always liked the Lot. But they're asking for a lot at $23.50 per ticket when their theater has such gross seats. The triangles seats are in better shape. Cmon guys, pony up and reupholster these things. Their gross.

This was one of my favorite theatre in OC, it's a bit expensive but love being able to order cocktails and food options at the seat. Like what the others said, I noticed major deterioration on the leather seats.I accidentally purchased tickets for the wrong night and the fee to change date was $19, total ticket price was $26, that's insane. This is probably my last visit to The Lot.

The nachos were a big disappointment. Chips were good, guacamole was good, the cheese was movie theater fake like it came out of a jar. We sent them back. The burger and fries were good.

Love this movie theater. The staff is really nice. It's a bit pricey but worth it. I'd rather go here than anywhere else. Park at the lot next to the core power yoga and the urban outfitter. The food has always been great. I usually get the sushi or chicken tenders. Love all the drinks.

So my ex was like... "Hey Babe, I got us tickets for Oppenheimer at The Lot in Newport." Ugh... I was in such a bind. I wanted to go see this 3 hour movie so badly and honestly, I could have afforded it in the discounted theaters-- no problem. But... do I want to see a 3 hour movie in a discounted theater with sticky floors? Or do I want to sit at The Lot; where there are servers bringing you bottles of wine and charcuterie? Where there are leather reclining seats. Speakers basically built right into your ears. And a cute little swivel table that gave you flashbacks of college auditoriums. The Bougie Lot with the Ex or... discounted Regal cinemas alone? The Lot (and the ex) wins again!!!Low Down on the Price:2 tickets: $41Bottle of red wine, charcuterie board, and chicken strips: $150 (with tip) I didn't choose the bougie life. The Bougie Life chose me.

The Lot" doesn't sound like a very appealing name. But I promise it delivers a lot more than you'd think by the name. This is a restaurant and movie theater combined. When you are first walking-up, there is a hostess stand and you feel like you are getting seated at a restaurant. But if you go to the right, you will find a concierge desk where you can purchase movie tickets. Or if you already purchased in advance, then you can scan your ticket. We purchased online and just needed the barcode scanned. We went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 3, in 3D. It was pretty good in 3D. We weren't sure what to expect. The movie theater itself was very comfy. Reclining chairs and a large amount of space. They also come over to your chair if your press the "help" button on your chair. The button will light up if you press it, notifying staff that you need assistance. They take your order and then bring your food directly to you. The chairs include a mini table that folds out so you can eat and enjoy the show. The theater was clean, staff were professional, and we had a great time. The food was good as well.

Always take my kiddo here for date night. Its expensive, but the food is good, the in theater dining experience is so easy. I never feel rushed if we cut it a little close. They had a live saxiphone performer there whcih was fantastic! He was so good! They just do a really nice job. I was also nervous about ordering the sushi but our server (who was great, totally hustling, very attentive, made my son feel important) told me it was really good so I did and he was right.

Good meal, burger, pizza and a Beer. Tough to go wrong with those. The food was good, beer was cold and it was served quickly. The service was prompt and attentive. I will come back. I have been to the LOT on several occasions and have alway enjoyed consistently good food and great service.
