I took my mother to the Quiet Woman last week and had a wonderful celebration. The food was incredible, definitely add the CdM salad. The waitress was amazingly attentive and personable. Without hesitation I definitely recommend The Quiet Women for a special culinary experience.

My wife and I went there with another couple. We all had a lot of fun and the food was great. Service was also great. If you want a place with a lot of energy this was what we experienced. Bar was really busy and so was the restaurant. There was a band that played and they were great. One negative was a fight broke out in the bar area. They had bouncers who removed a person that I'm assuming was involved. I was surprised at that but I guess if there's alcohol and a festive bar area it can happen. It was still very nice and we will go back.

Horrible service, extremely rude waitress, the food was not worth it. The band was great.

Meals were disappointing. Chicken picatta wasn't even close to a picatta! It was roasted chicken and mediocre at best. Short rib pasta was terrible. Been there before but won't go back.

Food was perfect as always. One of the most dependable, high-quality restaurants in so Cal. Lauren, our server was super as always. The rest of the team is always enthusiastic and helpful.

We came for a special occasion-have not been here for a few years although this is a favorite. Generous portions! Love the BLT salad=the best ever. My husband had the lobster tacos which were great. Only negatives- we were served our food in the middle of the salad...which felt rushed. and the noise level was intense. Nevertheless, we will return!

Ordered broccoli which never came. Ordered two baseball steaks medium rare that came out medium medium well and they ran out of mashed potatoes that the dish came with so we had french fries. At least the drinks were good.

Valentines was my birthday and I made reservations for 730. We did not get seated until a little after eight. If you have any trouble hearing the cacophony is so overwhelming that I will not be coming back.

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Atmosphere was comfortable. Bar noise was absolutely awful. No conversation possible in our booth. Really a bummer since everything else was so pleasant. Perhaps one of the booths near the kitchen would be more tolerable; except who wants to sit by the kitchen? Recommend a Yes based on food and service. But, if you want to enjoy conversation over dinner, might want to try somewhere else.

For twenty years, we have been coming to Quiet Woman when we rent on Balboa Island in the Winter. One of our favorites! Last night we had a 7:00 reservation. It was almost 7:30 before we were seated, but we were treated well and graciously. The host and our server were exemplary , the server particularly so! Very loud , but that is to be expected. Our meal was promptly served and delicious as always.

Disappointing. Decided to try the quiet woman on Valentine's Day after many years of not being there. I was surprised to be seated in a back patio area, which looks like a converted garage. I started with the quiet woman's salad, which was very good. My wife ordered the chicken piccata, and I ordered the Spicy rigatoni à la vodka. My wife was very disappointed in the chicken piccata it was a large breast that was dry and not seasoned well. My spicy rigatoni, à la vodka was delivered lukewarm, obviously sat on the warming table for 10 or 15 minutes because all of the sauce had coagulated, and was so spicy that neither my wife or I could eat it. We decided to get to go containers and take this home. I'm disappointed in the quiet woman because I have fond memories of going there over 30 years ago and the food was great.

A wonderful experience for my partner and I! The only thing was that they were filming in the main building, and there wasn't notice until we showed up to our reservation. If we were in a section that had been filmed we would have had to cancel. It was great otherwise! Lovely staff, beautiful patio and amazing food.
