I greatly enjoyed coming down and having breakfast daily during my stay.I elected to do the buffet which is $30 a day if you’re non-Globalist.Now for a wide variety of different options, depending on the day. Consistently there is eggs, bacon, pork sausage, chicken, sausage, fruit, bread, bagels, and many items.

This airport hotel is not like the others, it's actually a really nice hotel! Rooms are modern, nice, and clean. Employees are super nice and helpful. The rooms are defaulted to motion activated lighting but the front desk will demo how to turn this feature off, which I greatly appreciated. It was almost like a safety demo on a plane ride. And the restaurant in the lobby is pricy but pretty darn tasty. If you have a quick overnight in the Orange County area and need to be close to SNA, then look no further than Hyatt Regency, John Wayne Airport.

Moving this down to a 2 for the attitude of the staff, despite the fact that we are top tier Hyatt. Also, the restaurant and bar food is horrible now and waaay too expensive.

Had dinner here 3 nights in a row. Appetizer & Main Course each time. Everything was great and way better than you'd expect for a hotel restaurant.

The outside of the hotel doesn't do it justice. Very clean and modern hotel with all the amenities you will need. A nice restaurant and bar and store. Free complimentary champagne upon your arrival and refreshing diffused water in the lobby. The room is pretty spacious with a 55 inch tv, refrigerator, large shower with wand attachment. The rooms are lined up where you can look downward into the lobby. A little scary if you are afraid of heights. They charge 30 dollars for self parking. Restaurant serves a modest menu on the pricier side, but it was very good. We will definitely return.

It's p nice and staff is amazing. Not the biggest fan of the layout or the vibe of the rooms.

Really nice hotel about 1-2 blocksFrom John Wayne Airport. $30Self parking overnight. Real clean and easy to find location. They give you a small glass of champagne upon arrival. Real easy check in and close elevators. It was an open floor plan, you can stand in the lobby and look up to the floors in the middle. They had a bar, a small market and a restaurant. A bit pricey in all places. One bottled water was $6. The restaurant had a brief menu without many selections and the food was really good. The server was a bit slow and tentative. It took about 30 minutes to get the food cooked, and I missed some of the Colorado game. The room was amazing with great decor and amenities. Sliding door shower and a shower head and wand in the shower. King sized bed an incredibly large flat screen TV and a sofa in the room. Black out curtains and all around great. I enjoyed the stay. I will be returning soon.

Comfortable bed and pillows. Everything looked clean . The refrigerator in the room was beeping and that was quite annoying. It was a little confusing to turn on the lamps but other than that it was a good stay.

Very standard rooms. They tell me every time I check in, they have upgraded my room. I don't why some marketing genius has all Hyatts do that. Those of us that have stayed 100's of night at Hyatt hotels, know that the comments around an upgrade, are exactly that. Just comments. Visiting many rooms, it's a standard room, but they want you to believe you were treated special. Nice try. But see through. Suggestion. Hyatt front desk. Stop embarrassing yourselves. No need for the non- promise. Really.

Amazing food, great service! Everything on the menu is great, the Chef has been here for years and really presents the food in a beautiful way!

Nice newly renovated rooms. Quite stay.Always an enjoyable stay at Hyatt Regency John Wayne Airport.Just minutes away from the airport. Lots of restaurants in the area. Only 10 mins away from South Coast Plaza.I normally stay here when I come down annually for the Grand Prix of Long Beach.Overnight parking is now $30.

We stayed here when we were visiting Disneyland. The hotel is about a 20 minute drive from the park, which worked well for us. Hotel staff was very friendly (especially Lupe in the restaurant). The room was perfect for what we needed. Food at the restaurant was even better than we expected, and we would have eaten there more during our stay had we known that before our last evening. We did eat 1 dinner and 1 breakfast there, though. The only downside for us was the $30/night parking fee. It's honestly probably comparable to other parking fees at hotels in the area, but just seemed a little steep since it was self-parking and the lot was never much more than 1/2 full in the evenings.

The hotel was adequate. The only negative was that we were given a queen bed instead of a king bed ... and we couldn't control the air conditioner. We had to call the front desk during 80% of our stay.

This hotel was amazing; I was really impressed with my stay. The hotel is beautiful and clean and the staff are wonderful. They even wrote a letter thanking me for choosing hyatt with a fiji water and snacks. That was so thoughtful. I would absolutely recommend this location specifically for anyone staying in the Anaheim area.

$330 a night for a nice room. Some holes in terms of cleanliness (bathroom, and smelly towel) but lots of nice things about it, too. Overall, the room felt clean and modern and it was a peaceful night's rest.
