So delicious!! We had the burrito with carnitas. It is so big that we split it in half. I really think that is the best burrito I have ever had. Sauce was great, generous on the Carnitas and it was just totally delicious. I was sad when it was finished LOL. If you’re on Balboa Island, you have to try Wilma’s. We sat outside on the patio and it made it even better with The beautiful ocean weather. Our server was Roy and Roy gave us the best service. He’s very funny and attentive and just has a terrific personality. My house margarita was so good too. Thanks Roy, and thanks Wilma.

Looking for a restaurant with an extensive breakfast and lunch selection? Look no further. Wilma's Patio Restaurant is the place. It offers everything from the classics like a traditional eggs and pancakes breakfast to some original entrées like "bombers,"egg sandwiches on sourdough bowl cut in half. For the vegetarians, the Veggie sandwich doesn't disappoint and neither does the avocado toast. The orange juice is freshly-squeezed and delicious. It's hard to find good Bloodly Mary's but whoever makes them here has the right mix. It's refreshing with the right mix of ingredients. Another plus is the cornbread which can be served as the option for "toast." It's delicious!All the staff is friendly and accommodating. When inquiring about whether the Blood Mary mix was clam-based or not, the server checked with the manager and went as far as reading the directions on the mix. It does not include clams which was music to my ears.Can't recommend this gem enough!Vegetarian options: Options are available for vegetarians. Some can be made vegan.

Wandering for several hours with my daughter-in-love, her newborn and her 2 year old we were ready for dinner. Wilma's not only offered us a window, but a back cozy seating so mama could nurse and the 2 yr old could be free to chat.The food was delicious. I shared a chicken nacho with my grandson and my daughter had the sourdough bread chowder.The entire staff were quick to assist when needed and offered great service.The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable with the beautiful table clothes. A must see and visit when wandering in Balboa Bay.Sadly no food pictures as a toddler kept me busy.
