If you want a good burger, this isn't the place. Try Sam's Classic Burgers on Auburn Blvd. They taste like how Lou's used to taste! Unfortunately, at Lou's the patties are flat/bland, fries are overpriced and you barely get any.

The first thing that struck me as remarkable at Lou's were the ladies taking the order and cooking. They were very personable but efficient. Sadly, that is first and last. I realize Lou's is a community treasure that has struggled to stay open so it is painful to be honest. The quality of the cheeseburgers, onion rings and fries we bought was dismal. The ground beef was really poor quality. If you're into quantity over quality than this is the place for you. The burger was huge and it sat in my stomach like a stone. The onion rings tasteless and dry. Fries were better than the rings but again you just can't put a price on the sweet dispositions of the gals serving up the grub. Those ladies are the saving grace at Lou's Drive-In...

Want a solid good burger? This place absolutely has it. I haven't ordered anything else yet, but there are other options. It's definitely road side vibe, but nothing wrong with that. They aren't super fast, but that actually makes it better. They don't cook too many things at once.

Why would anyone eat at Jack's or McDonald's when you get twice the food and better quality here?Sure it takes 10 or 15 minutes to get your food but you can watch him make it through the window. You wonder why you can't do that at McDonald's as they process 600 cars an hour through their drive-thru. They don't want you to see what's going on back there.

Tried this place for the first time recently...with all the great things I've heard, and living pretty close by I figured why not? First- if I could leave a separate rating for the guy who took my order I'd give him 5 stars...he was a younger guy working the order window and cooking food and he was the sweetest thing. Super polite and friendly, even complimented me and made me laugh. Now for the food...it was ok. I felt like they didn't really season the meat at all so it was kinda bland. And there was a lot of sauce on my burger...almost too much sauce. The bun was getting soggy before I finished the burger. I got a side of fried zucchini and a chocolate peanut butter milkshake- both of those were wonderful. I would definitely go back, because this place has potential. I think I'd just tell them to do a few things different when making my burger.
