We enjoy going out. Yesterday we arrived in this magnificent place which friends recommended to us. We had a beautiful time there with delicious dishes and a well-trained team and a distinguished chief cook. We added this venue in our list and we shall no doubt visit again very soon. Pit Stop has some of the best bbq ribs in Sacramento....and their brisket and tri-tip are also amazing. Not too pricey, this little tucked away treasure off of Watt Ave. is a staple for the in-the-know locals, discover it for yourself! I've been coming here for years, and the new owners are friendly and dedicated to the idea of good food and happy people. One of my favorites!

I purchased a 2 plate with pulled pork, hot links, potato salad and beans as my sides. The food was delicious! I jad plenty to eat. I lovwd the smoky flavor of the pulled pork and the sweet taste of the potato salad. I also enjoyed the extra garlic bread that came with it. And it all delivered in a quick time frame and packaged well. I ordered it using the Seamless delivery app. I will be ordering again.

I bought a family meal in the 31st. I called ahead but when I got there my order wasn't ready and the food I had originally wanted was no longer available. They substituted some items I paid 86 dollars. The main problem was the Mac and cheese was so heavily salted it was unedible. You had to spit it out immediately. The greens were also really undercooked. The meat not so bad but again I didn't get what I originally wanted.
Greens were crunchy as well as the beans, never have i had crunchy greens, should've known better by the color of them but I figure I'd give them a go, NEVER again!!!!

I'm giving 2 stars because we liked the meat a few times. But the side dishes have been absolutely disgusting. Each time we order them through door dash, I try diffierent sides hoping I will like at least one of them. Tonight I literally spit out the Mac n cheese on the first bite. I really wanted to support the new owners, but we will not order from here again unless there is massive improvement on sides. Also, we ordered cornbread and none came tonight. The meat was also totally dry this time and no sauce came with our food It's important to be just as on point with delivery as you would be if someone were eating at your restaurant.... especislly during Covid when most of us are doing take out. Update: I'm changing to one star for the response I got from the manager. I'm not a liar. We ordered corn separately and we did not get it. Door dash even refunded me for this. You will not do well calling customers liars. Also, we had ribs and hot links and we did not get any sauce with those. No one takes the time to write a review like this unless they actually had an issue.

I finally got to try them under the new management. Awesome family took over. Food was excellent including the best corned bread I have ever tasted! I was there early and not everything was gone so I'll be back to try more. Thank y'all
