“Went to House of Thai to try it out with a friend. Looked like a bit of a hole-in-the-wall place, but the service was good, food (Coconut fried shrimp, beef drunken noodle, and pork Pad Thai) was good. The only thing I didn't like was the Thai tea was super concentrated and sweet, but my friend liked his, so that's that.“

“Every time I visit the Sacramento area, I make sure to get out to North Highlands for some awesome Cuban food at Sol Cubano. It is a small, family owned business with great service and amazing food. My favorite dish is the oxtail stew. It is so deliciously tender and flavorful. A few of the others I also really enjoy are the marinated pork, the Cuban rice, and the empanadas.“

“This is my second time eating here. The first time, I had the lunch buffet. It was very good. Unfortunately, they don't have the buffet anymore, so we ordered off the menu. “Service was okay. Pretty pricey for fresh spring rolls. $11.95?! I admit they were the only thing good, along with my thai iced coffee. The thai boat broth was good, however, they must have used pad thai noodles or something because it's not the regular pho noodles. The meat in it was chewy and hard. Husband did not finish his bowl. We paid and left. Not sure we'll be going back.“

“Some of the best hibachi I've had in ages. I just don't understand why they don't have white sauce / yum yum sauce / shrimp sauce / Sakura sauce, whatever you wanna call that sauce... I've never been to a hibachi place that didn't have it. Strange. Didn't even seem to know what I was talking about. Eager to please and gave me more of the sauce the hibachi was cooked in instead, lol. Hate to take a star off for that, though, but just have to, cause it would be prefect with it, and wasn't without. However, otherwise, absolutely recommend, totally wonderful, good food, great service, good vibes. Just byo yum yum sauce, I guess...“
