Food is Amazing! I come here almost every week. Under new management. I admire the hospitality. The owner and employees are very friendly, welcoming and nice! I absolutely love the breakfast here! My family also comes for the menudo, its the best! Good vibes , and always eat comfortably here. 100/10 I would rate this place!

One of the best breakfast spots in town! Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. Servers came around often to top off my cup of coffee. Maria was so welcoming and kind. I will definitely come back! Perfect family friendly atmosphere, I'm already planning on inviting my friends for breakfast here! I'm really happy came in with new management in charge. :)

The place was great. My family and I decided to give it a chance when we realized it was under new management! Our server Alan did a wonderful job on making us feel welcomed and provided us with everything we needed. All our food came hot and it was delicious.

Under new ownership. We decided to have breakfast and she ordered the California omelette and I had the Machaca. We shared some bites and both were excellent. It was very fresh and the prices were not bad at all. The service was exceptional, and the ambience was comfortable and friendly.

I'm not sure what happened here. This place was good when it first opened up. Years later they still had the same furnishings and carpet and it did not look clean. Worn just worn. The chicken fried steak is amazing, their baked goods were good, but the menu I think was too big. Some of their sandwiches were worth it but as time went on I noticed fewer and fewer people in the area. The owners have now changed and I do hope the tear down the menu a bit and freshen up the place. Service was always excellent and super friendly. I wish the new owner lots of luck and will stop by and see how it is. Rating it on previous experience only for the food and service..4 starts easily a solid 4 stars

This restaurant had been in business for over 40 years, but shut down during the pandemic, and reopened with new management about a year ago. BUT, the same cook works there that worked for the old management. The prices are not as inexpensive as they used to be, but they serve huge portions of every dish they make. Good old home-style cooking, so it's not pricey at all, I guess. ?PS: They're open every day for breakfast and lunch. They close at 3:00 p.m.. They told me that it's because they're waiting for business to pick up before they decide to open for dinner.

This is just one of those older diner feels. Our server was very warm and attended to us very quickly. She knew the regulars, and that was nice to see. The food portions were big and were prepared fresh.
So far so good. My blushing bride and I are trying out Kountry Folks Restaurant after many years of wanting to eat here but never doing so. Classic diner menu and kind greeting by the friendly staff. Very noisy kitchen is the entertainment system and it's freezing cold inside. Clean as a whistle, though, and full of regulars. The coffee got compliments from my blushing bride, as did the Christmas mug. Oddly, the Health Department shutdown yesterday is being reported to customers as "closed for the day to shoot a movie". It seems that both are true. But the B rating isn't prominently posted at the entrance. The food... big portions and completely acceptable diner food. Good value for the money. The pork chops were great; I even gnawed on the bones! It's just a shame that the environment was really uncomfortable.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at this hidden gem of a breakfast spot in the valley! The pancakes were a delightfully fluffy and the corned beef hash was awesome. Country gravy and biscuits were so good.The ambiance was homely and they had cute Christmas decorations. Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: Went with my toddler and husband, my daughter loved the eggs and pancakes.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kountry Folks, and it exceeded all expectations. The service, particularly from Chris and Joaquin, was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and truly added to the overall experience. The corned beef hash was a standout, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, and the country gravy was a delightful complement. Kountry Folks is a gem for breakfast lovers, and I highly recommend it for a delicious meal and top-notch service. 5 stars without a doubt!

Under new ownership! I ordered the veggie omelet with potatoes. The omelet was huge and the potatoes were delicious. The staff and owner were very friendly. It has a homey vibe and the Christmas decorations were festive and fun. I'd definitely eat here again!

*UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP* One of THE best Country Fried Steak n Eggs! Seriously. The gravy is TO DIE FOR! I also love that you have the option for biscuits and gravy as a side for no additional cost. I'm still dreaming of it after a couple of days now haha The service was top notch and was a huge reflection on their incredibly friendly staff. I mean, I don't think I've even seen the bottom of my coffee mug since those refills kept on coming! Parking was convenient as there was plenty on the side of the restaurant. As for ambience, definitely a family spot. I will say the interior is a bit outdated but as mentioned above, it's under new ownership who is eager to make some changes to the massive potential this place has. I personally can't wait to see the improvements! I'll definitely be back. Cheers!
