Empanadas were not very good. Asked if they had any dipping sauces, chimichurri or any hot sauce. Was rudely told no they have no dipping sauces. Ordered 2 beef empanadas, 1 spinach/cheese. Discovered they had given me 3 beef. The spinach was for my vegetarian friend. They cant even get your order correct.

They seem to have changed ownership and it they seem to have changed recipe for empanadas. The beef was ok , the chicken I couldn't even eat.Too bad. This place was my favorite for empanadas.

We called, they told us they closed at 6:30 pm we arrived at 6:20 and although there were two people in there they were already closed. A 1.5 hour trip in vain... they should then say that they close at 6 pm. And on top of that, the opening hours say that they are open until 7 pm.??

Not my favorite place. It was super dead which should have been a dead giveaway. Food was okay, pricey and the atmosphere was... not inviting.

This market has the best spinach empanadas in the SFV.I also get my fav Argentinean empanada dough, Yerba mate and they have the best home made alfajores de maizena , if you don't know what that is, ask them.Lately they've been running low on stock but they are so far the best lil shop in North Hollywood. One time , during the scandemic, I left my cellphone and I was going to lose my job, the owner actually drove to the shop from her home with her kiddos to bring my phone back to me. I was undone.

Oh wow, top three sandwiches I've ever had in my life. Though the headliner is the Entraña, I'm all about the Choripan which is a sausage sandwich. World changing...

People must know!! this is a gem the small business cooks fresh delicious food. I am afraid that if we don't put the word out a good and tasty traditional Argentinian food place is going to disappear. Call ahead so they can have it ready. Asados are delicious well all they make is. The owner is a very sweet older gentleman who is very sweet and kind.

I have been a regular customer here for about 25 years. They have had a few different owners in that period. It's now under new management. The tea sandwiches are still the same. Now the empanadas are a lot different than they used be. Noticed that now on the beef empanadas have onion in it and has less beef but they are still very tasty. It just changed ownership it's employee owned so I am hopeful. I have since moved to northern Cali and fly down to fill my cooler with their great meat selection sandwiches and empanadas. They also make great sandwiches to go. And most important their empanadas are baked not fried they are delicious. I would recommend this place.

Years ago, I was introduced to sandwiches de miga from Alex Meat Market, maybe a different name for the business then but they came in a pink cake box! Unbelievably delicious! Always made a point to get them this time of year, my late mother would make the trip and we enjoyed them at Christmas time! I live in La Puente and for me the half hour trip just for Miga was a hike...so I tried them from Tito's Market in El Monte a 10 to 12 minute drive at best! Well, they weren't as good as the one's I remember from Alex MeatMarket! I also tried the empanadas and again Tito's can't compare!!! I noticed Rocco G post they are out of business, well I guess it's back to Tito's for my Miga!!!
