Holy Hot Chicken has come a long way from their parking lot days. Yes, they used to operate in a parking lot with three guys on Hollywood Blvd. a few years ago. Now they have come a long way where they do not have to be at the restaurant to run the business. Good job guys!!Now, on to the food. Thankfully, the recipe here has been consistent since its early years. Of course price has slightly changed and a few items (sides) have been added to their menu. The way to go are the tenders in medium. Don't forget to check in with Yelp for a free side or drink.

Portions are generous but while I was expecting spicy hot chicken it was not. A tad on the salty side.

Little hidden spot off of Cahuenga. I popped in after hitting the shop while it seemed a bit empty but I have to say that that shouldn't steer you away from these guys. Food was cooked on the spot after I ordered but the kicker here is that the guy recommended me to add pineapple to my sliders and maaaaaaan no other hot chicken spot I've been to gives you that option so this spot by far takes the cake for me. Very good customer service these dudes were attentive and fast. Will definitely be coming back and recommending others to do so as well.

I guess hot chicken is the rage nowadays, with all kinds of spots popping up in la. Holy hot chicken makes a pretty good Nashville fried chicken, but it's not the best. The chicken itself could use a bit more seasoning and it wasn't as juicy as I anticipated but the crunch was there. I did however enjoy the pineapple slice which is a unique twist and a nice extra element to the sandwich. The price 12$ for the slider and fries is slightly above average imo. The service was great and the Reggae music while dining outside makes for a cool dining experience. I'll stop by again if I'm in the area thanks guys .

Came here on a Saturday night and the place was super cool! Small little chicken spot with nice string lights and outdoor seating. Great sandwich slider and I found the hot spicy chicken to be perfect for me. They are friendly and I would definitely recommend and come back again when in the area and craving delicious chicken sandwiches!!

Some of the BEST fried chicken I've had in Los Angeles! The pineapple is a great touch to switch it up and the secret sauce is amazing. This place has a great vibe and the guys that work here are super nice. I would recommend coming here to anyone!

Whoa. Pretty pretty pretty good. Work down the block from here. Wish it was available during lunch. Big portions. Came out Abit slow the first time I went, only one in front of me. Service was otherwise efficient and fairly friendly. Parking in the neighborhood seemed easy.

The "slider" is a full blown sandwich. Really big portion and delish. I got medium spice which had a little kick but not too spicy! The crunchy slaw and creamy sauce balanced it really well. I got pineapple on the side so I could try it both ways and it was good with but personally preferred it without! BE PREPARED FOR A WAIT. The 2 guys running the stand were really nice and kind. I got there 5 minutes after opening and there was already a pretty good crowd, so I waited over 30 minutes, but was happy to support a local small business.

The best chicken spot in all of LA!!! All of the employees were very nice and genuine people. I've been to many different chicken spots all around LA and I can easily say they are the BEST without a doubt. It's a genius idea to put pineapple on the chicken because it makes it more juicy and flavorful. Overall their chicken is juicy and spices are amazing, I don't even eat coleslaw but their slaw if fire, buns toasted where you it's crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside, and if you decide to add the pineapple (which you won't regret) it gets the slider, tender or chicken fries even more flavorful. THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE FOR HOT CHICKEN!!!!!!

My wife and I's quest for the best hot chicken in Los Angeles has taken us here. This has been the best hot chicken sandwich I've ever tasted. Their homemade coleslaw, pickles, and mind blowing pineapple (really, this is the next step in the evolution of the perfect hot chicken sandwich) had me enjoying every bite. Their service was excellent and speedy, something I've found is a rarity among the hot-chicken spots. They do provide what I would consider a "hot" spicy level. It isn't tear bursting or snot running type of hot, but it certainly will have you grab for the honey (which is actually good quality) or your drink. The addition of pineapple to their sandwiches allows their spiciness to stay at a steady level, not too weak and not too hot. Just right for those who enjoy a kick in their spicy food. For the spicy fans, I'd recommend the hot level. If you're a true spicy fan, I'd recommend the X-Hot. However there are still places I feel they could with improve their fry game, though it's at the same level as its competitors. All in all, 4/5

My friend and I were hungry for chicken and this was the nearest place that was open late. I just searched up the nearest one and didn't pay attention to the reviews lol. The staff were friendly, especially this bearded guy (sorry i don't know your name :( ). The food is pretty good and is enough to satisfy your chicken crave. I really liked the fries and the sauce that comes with it. I recommend the pineapple add-on because it was really juicy and sweet. The spice flavors weren't too crazy which was good for me because i CANNOT handle spicy.
