Man oh man, today my uncle ordered pupusas, yucas fritas con salpicón, and I asked for a coctel de camarón. But once I was eating the cóctel de camarones it tasted a bit off. I didn't say anything because I thought it was just me but when I gave my husband, my uncle and my mother in law to try pieces of one camarón, they said the same thing. So me being the nice person I am, I called them to let them know but the girl was so rude and just said "Bring it over" which we did, and I'm guessing one of the Cooks came out to try it herself cause she didn't believe and she said "It might be just YOUR tastebuds cause to me it tastes good." And my husband and I were like "Uhmm look we didn't come here to fight or anything" and so came other two ladies and they were just going at us saying the food always taste good there and they've never had a problem . At the end the girl didn't even offer to give us a replacement of the food and she literally just said "I'll give you a refund" literally we would order from this place since is so close to us but after this experience we are no longer going there. F convenience.

I've been craving good papusas for about a week. I havent ordered from Casitas since before the pandemic. I must say, before they were amazing, even now, they're keeping up they're great reputation. This restaurant has been an amazing experience every time over ever been. Especially during a pandemic I've become very picky about where I order from. So many places make errors with my order and the customer service is hit or miss. So I highly appreciate everything Las Casitas has done for me. From ordering over the phone, to great prices, to fast and speedy Service, to the delicious exceptional quality of food. I felt like I was ordering from a family member, they were very accommodating and helpful to choose my order. I ordered all the types of papusas, yuca, plantanos, rice, beans and horchata drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious. I loved the papusas especially but fiance really loved the yuca and plantanos. The flavor, the quantity and the authenticity of the food stands out enough on its own besides the amazing service. Ive lived in LA for about 6 years now and I will continue to go to Las Casitas. They're the perfect example of an authentic Salvadorian restaurant in Los Angeles. I highly recommend this restaurant for locals and anyone who's passing by. Las Casitas in North Hollywood needs all the appreciation and respect they deserve.
