If you love pastrami's sandwiches, this is the place to try. I find the another famous spot in LA getting too crowded and I was recommended to Brent's by a local. The first pastrami absolutely delivers and this place is underrated for sure. You will see lots of local folks enjoying their brunch or lunch here at this spot. That's when you know it's good. The fries portion is huge ! You will definitely get full from it or you could take half of the sandwich to go. My coffee was topped off constantly and the service was great ! Whenever I am in this area, I am definitely stopping by again !

In my mind, Deli's are like a favorite old Aunt, you get excited about them even though they're a little loud, old and smelly or Maybe it just a sentimental thing - regardless... I absolutely Love Deli's and Brent's satisfied that space. We were a party of 11 people in which they accommodated easily, the menu is massive with anything and everything, the portions are hefty and the quality of ingredients were good. Flavors of all the staple foods rose up to the occasion and thus they are busy for a reason! A well oiled machine that cranks out food efficiently. Servers were super friendly knew the menu and were happy to advise. Two kinds of pickles are served complimentary with fresh warm rye bread and butter... yum! Lots of free parking in the lot. The warm pastrami Ruben was bomb !!

If you are a New Yorker, you are always on the hunt for a great deli. I finally found the best one in L.A., for a lot of reasons. First of all, 651 menu items! And every one of them a winner, authentic, classic, old school and delicious. The place has easy parking, is huge, bustling and can be dine in or take out. You name it, if Carnegie or Katz does it, Brent's does it as well and better -- trust me. Unlike the delis in the Fairfax district (forget the nightmare parking there), it won't cost you your life savings. The portions are beyond generous, everything made fresh, rushed to your table by friendly, efficient servers. Ours, Kathy, was smiling, warm, and helpful. We were a large group and kept throwing orders out at her and she rolled with all of it with charm. The place is spotless and there is an upbeat, busy, happy vibe, too. Even on our favorite off hour, people kept pouring in. I will have to return a dozen times to try everything I wanted from the menu and passing other diners' tables. I will let my pictures do the rest of the work here, as I think Brent's is beyond mere syllables -- you need to experience it. We will be back!

Food is good and it's great for that old fashioned diner experience but the food is insanely expensive for being old fashioned diner food. Also expect a big wait during busy times.

The food was really good, there is usually a wait but it's worth the wait because you get unlimited delicious pickles and I'm not a pickle lover but these pickles are special. I usually get the eggs Benedict which are so delicious. We love coming here from time to time for brunch. Great atmosphere and their pistachio bread is a must try!!!

This is a great deli. Service is great. It's the best rye bread in LA. I love the cucumber salad!

I came here a couple years ago . Super packed !!! So expect a wait . But that only means the food is amazing ... which it was . I know deliver for DoorDash & staff is still super clean & friendly . Can't wait to come back !

First time try Brent's Deli in decades - used to live in that valley; didn't know they were established since 1967. It was packed at 11am on a weekday but they were very organized and efficient so the wait time is not bad at all. They have one of the best no non sense pastrami sandwich I ever have. Juicy meats on Jewish rye's. The tuna melt is good - should ordered it with 3more slices of cheese and the chop liver was just ok to my taste but still fresh & good. I put in a lot of pepper & lightly browed onion & a bit more water and ate with veg - jicama raddish cucumber tomato ... I had an early passover - oh - I'm Jewish or Christians or Chinese or Indian ... at least one day of the year - their most important day I'll pretend I'm them and enjoy - on St. Patrick I'm Irish - sue me - will definitely have their pastrami when ever I go that way but I'll take tomato onion and my own gerkin horseradish, sour cream and Russian dressing - don't like their pickle. Hope they'll let me order pastrami melt - also with extra extra cheese - I eat funny - being only honorary Jewish - haha

We love this deli as it is very easy for us to access it from our home. Food is always delicious. There usually is a long wait but today we lucked out. Service and food quality is always good. Just try to avoid the usual meal rush hours. Servings are large.

Food is always great but prices have gotten so high I can't afford it anymore. I used to frequent this place for half my life at least a couple times a week now it's so so expensive I hardly can afford to go there even mostly for take out. They shortened their hours and even close early on Mondays. Used to be my go to place my home away from home. Known the whole family for many years. It's sad that I cannot say much good about how it is there now It should have never gotten this bad extremely expensive now. I never thought this would happen they used to always keep the prices fair So sad.

Loved the Matzoh Brie. and their servings are huge. I highly recommend the Turkey Club. The Bakery has the largest cake I've seen and they are very tasty.
