I was going somewhere else but the wait was too long and I am glad it was, because that's how I found this place. Way cheaper than other Cajun around here. Tastier, great service, beautiful decoration, TV and great music. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

I ordered to go over the phone for Valentine's Day. I ordered 2 lbs of peeled shrimp the Kuya Way Mild. It was freaking delicious. The sauce is so good full of flavor. The shrimp were perfectly cooked. Nice and tender. The staff were super friendly. I will definitely order from here again. I can't wait to go home and eat the rest that was left over, which isn't much. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Next time we will dine in. Highly recommend giving them a try.

We ended up here for Valentine's Day dinner, since other seafood places in the area were full and had long wait times. It was Ash Wednesday too. When we arrived, the place seemed busier than usual, and there were only two servers. We seated ourselves and waited at least 5 minutes for a server to acknowledge and present us the menu. One server was busy placing orders, the other seemed lost, very inexperienced, and had to be told what to do. FOOD: We ordered their seafood platter ($45.99), good for 2 people, with shrimp, mussels, and clams (each half pound), plus sausages, corn, and rice. We also added 2 orders of quail eggs. The wait was not too long. The platter itself did not have much in it. We opted for non-spicy sauce, which was good, but it still had a kick to it. Now, the seafood: The shrimp and mussels were UNDERCOOKED. The shrimp still had a gray tinge and were soft and chewy. Unacceptable. Half of the clams were unopened as well. The seafood was definitely not thoroughly cooked. ‼‼‼ SERVICE: Customer service left much to be desired and could be improved. We will not return to this place.

We had an outstanding experience at this spot! The staff was incredibly friendly, making us feel right at home. The restaurant was spotless, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The food was nothing short of amazing - from the flavorful corn to the succulent shrimp, crab, mussels, and calamari, each dish left us craving more, and loved the presentation. This marked our second visit, and it certainly won't be our last. Looking forward to returning for another delightful meal!

Great food and service. I highly recommend mixing the Cajun rice with other seafood dishes to maximize the favor. There are plenty of free parking. I highly recommend the restaurant.

As a frequent seafood boil eater, I was excited to read the reviews and try this place. I was visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this place. I came in with a group and we were the only ones there on a Friday evening. The server, who was a younger boy with long hair was the ONLY positive experience. He was attentive and friendly. However, when it comes to the food it is a different story. I love crawfish and I used to work at a seafood boil restaurant, so I know how the average crawfish should taste. The 2 lbs of crawfish I had were the WORST quality crawfish I've ever had. The crawfish were a light orange color (they should be a deep red). The shells folded off like wet tissue and you could tell their quality was the lowest of the low. Even with all of this, the restaurant had the audacity to charge $19 a pound for this dumpster quality crawfish. Also, the restaurant states they charge a 2.5% fee on ALL ORDERS to "maintain food quality". I don't know where this money is going because the food is terrible. On top of this, they charge a gratuity. I came with a larger party so this is understandable. However, every restaurant that does this service charge has done a standard 18%. This restaurant does a 20% service charge, so with their "food quality assurance fee" you are forced to pay an ADDITIONAL 22.5%. ALSO, the menu states they charge for bibs and plastic gloves. I have never seen a seafood boil place do this. Terrible, terrible food. Would NEVER be back.

I have been eyeing this place since the name change. It used to be another seafood spot before attached to Kusina ni Kuya. I came here on a Tues night (10/24/2023) with my girlfriends. I got here at 7:30PM and we were the only ones in the whole entire restaurant til they closed at 10PM (but they closed early probably because we were they only customers the whole night). Parking in front was easy peasy. Of course, the name alone lets me know this place is Filipino owned and operated. In honor of Filipino American History month, I came to eat. :) My friends ordered (2) rice, lumpia (eggrolls), lechon kawali (crispy fried pork belly), and fries (2 baskets - LOL). I ordered the peeled shrimp because I was feeling lazy and didn't want to peel. Normally, I would keep the shrimp with a shell because I like to suck the head. (No dirty thoughts!) I went with 1 lb in kuya sauce medium level which is $20.99, but of course I needed to make additions. LOL I added one corn ($1.50), 5 pcs of quail eggs ($1.99), and 3pcs of potato ($2.50). Everything was good. Nothing that would not deter me from coming back. I would eat here again. I'm partial to lumpia and lechon, because I bleed it as a Filipino. The spice level on the shrimp was spicy (but I can handle it) but next time I just might go mild since I really liked the flavor of the kuya sauce (garlic butter with cajun spices). Our whole bill with tax and tip came out close to $100. Not bad for the 3 of us. I'll be back another time. I'm sure my family would be very interested in coming. Plus, I do love to support small business.

Kusina ni kuya is my place to go for ordering food for parties at home. They are the best in the valley for me for filipino food. Now we got to try their cajun shrimp. I must say this will be my favorite cajun spot from now on!! The blend is perfect and way better than the famous kickin kasian and the expensive boiling crab! We also get to try their calamari, t'was good but nothing special. It looks like it was a frozen pre made calamari that you fry when someone orders it. I would prefer if that was their own batter mixture. The place is very spacious and clean. Service was great! Nice staff and fast! Pricewise is ok. Their pound of shrimp maybe a dollar or 2 more expensive but it's ok because of the good taste! Overall great! Happy tummy!

We've had this spot on our list for a while and decided to have dinner here finally! Parking is super tiny but we managed to luckily find a spot up front. We got there shortly before 6pm and were the only ones there! Surprisingly empty for the time we went. Seems they have a separate connecting food area next door for take out only? Not sure but it was dark in that side of the room. We were greeted by Jonas who was very attentive and always made sure to check on us which was great. Food itself was okay. We ordered some garlic butter shrimp, flavor was amazing but scorching hot and difficult to eat. I almost wish it was just served in a bowl so that I can scoop the butter onto my rice which I was already doing. The fried chicken, sweet potato fries, and butterfly shrimp were pretty okay. The Calamansi juice is a must! I always go for it whenever a restaurant has it in their menu. There was another lady worker who seemed unfriendly and didn't really greet us and just walked away but other than that, Jonas did a great job serving us. IG: @ammysalamii

The food is great! Full of flavor and of course you're going to expect it to be salty. We had the fried pork, shrimp and mussels in the Cajun seasoning. I'd definitely go again! Maybe I'll order another rice or French fries if they have to help with the salt.

Aight...lots of other competition that were better. I'd go to Corn N Crab for much better seafood, quality and consistency.Even tried ordering on Doordash but they couldn't meet the order due to lack of ingredients...typical.

Very very good! The spice was just right and the quality of the seafood was great! Highly recommend this place!

Food is good not great. Definitely needs to work on cleanliness, you will see roaches walking around as you eat.

Same review for the Kusina ni kuya. Poor service and the bad food. But the place looks nice. That's about it.
