Went to Chutamas and was super excited because I've heard such positive things about the food and overall vibe. Saw that it was a mom and pop small business and ultimately had extremely high hopes. But, unfortunately my hopes were dashed. We ordered the drunken noodles and asked for mild (made sure to highlight this point), but the heat was over the top. We kindly asked for the dish to be re-made so that it was edible for us and they refused to. This HORRIBLE service continued when they profusely harassed us and became extremely argumentative. I truly believed that this was off the basis of our age and color and unfortunately this business owner let his personal bias get in the way of having a lifelong customer. HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND.

This place is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the valley. My family and I love going here for a quiet and delicious dinner on the weekends. The food is insanely delicious and is so authentic. It is family owned and because of this all the staff is so caring and have the best customer service. We usually always have the same waitress who is an absolute sweetheart. There is a lot of seating and it's clean and spacious. Favorite things on the menu include... Mango Sticky Rice- they have the sweetest/ ripest mangoes. Shrimp Pad Thai- 10 of 10, so delicious and fresh always Tom Yum Seafood Soup- has all the best seafood and is always displayed nicely, the spices are always on point and it never disappoints! If you are in the area don't miss experiencing some of the best Thai food.

Chutamas is our go to for Thai food. My favorites are the pineapple fried rice, tom yum and tamarind fish. I tried a lot of other dishes in the menu and they're all delicious. The people are very nice and warm. We spent our son's baptism dinner here, and they were very attentive. It's very spacious. All the guests love the food . Highly recommended!

Food is very delicious Chicken pad-see-ew the best I have ever tasted in the valley and we have tried many Thai food restaurants. Today I ventured out and I ordered spicy eggplant with ground chicken - mild spice. Amazing and had a nice kick The place - nice and spacious , plenty of seats. Service was great. Why I didn't give 4 or 5 stars. The sewer smell was kicking today. That was not cool. Also, all their produce and groceries everywhere through the restaurant, not organized or put away. Makes me a little worried how their kitchen looks. Need to fix the sewer smell big time - like top priority and put the groceries away and through away all the empty boxes. Food is good, do take out! Happy eating (at home)

This is hands down my favorite Thai restaurant in the SFV. This place hands down made my family and I want to go to Thailand to experience more food. We have tried so many things on the menu from black pepper beef, orange chicken, pineapple chicken curry, green curry, pad kra pao with chicken, tom kha, and drunken noodles. Ive been to this spot so many times and it never misses. My must haves are the thai lime ice tea, green Thai tea, black pepper beef, drunken noodles, and ofc the soup. No other Thai spot does it for me. Parking isnt bad! The staff are always so nice! Definitely give it a try!

Chutamas has the best Thai food in LA! The food is amazing and authentic. Spicy is legit spicy. This is a family-owned restaurant, and the people have always been kind. I usually order take-out, and everything is packed well. My favorite items are: -tom yum soup -panang curry -garlic green beans -tamarind fish -papaya salad -spicy noodles Soooo good. My sister and I always come here for Thai. There's free parking in the lot shared by other businesses. Highly recommend!!

I’ve lived in this neighborhood forever and didn’t know it existed. Was so excited to find myself a new Thai place. I tried drunken noodles for the first time, with no spice for me. It was the perfect size. A large portion with enough for leftovers for the next day. Also got myself. Thai tea which are my absolutely favorite.The server was so friendly. It was a rainy night so the place was pretty empty. They have lots of indoor dining options and a parking lot right in front. Will definitely be back!
