Food was delicious but our services was not so good. Our server took forever to come by and check on us even though there wasn't that many customers in our area. I understand when there's a lot of people but we waited more than 10 minutes for him to pick up our check after he dropped it off.

My husband and I visited this Claim Jumper for the first time in at least a decade. Unfortunately, it was nothing like what we had remembered it to be. First, aesthetically, the restaurant had not undergone any renovations within that decade, so everything literally looked as though it had been frozen in time. That includes the grime and dirty windows and window seals. It would be best not to be seated next to them if you’d like to maintain an appetite. ? We ordered the artichoke dip and chips as an appetizer and that was the first sign that this experience was not going to be like the last time, 10 years prior. The chips were so thin and bland, it’s hard to understand how they could be considered for a dip as thick as artichoke dip. The actual dip tasted of bacon grease and absolutely no other flavor. So that experience was a complete L (loss). Onto the dinner—my husband had a marinated lemon and herb shrimp with a baked potato and Brussels sprouts. While the presentation was actually very appetizing, The sprouts were literally hard as a rock—so much so that I had to show our waitress that we could not even put our fork through it. It seemed as though they were frozen and dropped into a sauté pan and literally blackened on both sides with no regard to actually cooking the inside. Awful. The shrimp were a bit soggy, and the baked potato was, well—like any other baked potato…lol. I opted for the factory burger and fries. Both the burger and fries were over cooked and had absolutely no flavor at all. A complete waste of calories. Last, we ordered the pecan butter cake, which came with a scoop of ice cream on top. To our disappointment the cake was literally cold to the touch, as if it had been brought straight from the freezer to the plate. Despite the coldness, the butter cake was actually fairly good. Not sure if that’s because of how extremely bad everything else was, but I was certainly not terribly disappointed in the taste. It was crunchy on the outside and moist inside. Overall, this restaurant gave me the feeling of being on its last leg. ?

Per owners request. What could have been done different to get a 5 star rating.First, no one was waiting and it still took 5 minutes for a busser to ask if we've been helped. He had a smile at least. The girl was right there and she never looked up to see if anyone was there, even though we were talking to each other. The noises should have alerted her.My food (choose 3) was dry, chicken burnt on bottom, I asked for medium, and got medium rare. Waved server down for all we needed vs him coming to us and asking if we are ok. Things moved really slow for it to be mostly empty.Would I travel 35 miles again for it? I'd go to Pasadena instead. I had the choose 2 and food was falling off the bone and very tender. Waitress visited us so much I was very pleased.

Air conditioning was broken. Server was talking poorly of his manager and company as a whole. Very unprofessional. Salad bar was broken. Refilling of our drinks was almost non existent. Such a bad experience.

Even though we booked a reservation with open table when we checked In with our reservation it took just as long to get seated as the other guests who got there when we did. So don't even bother booking something ahead you will still have to wait. They were short staffed and waiter took a very long time to take our order but he apologized and it wasn't his fault they were short staffed. He was kind and funny and worked as fast as he possibly Could so 5 stars for The waiter! The food was delicious, then again we were starving from waiting so long to get seated and waiting so long for our order to be taken that anything might've done the job!

System will not let me give less that one star. Went to Claim Jumper, Northridge, on August 18 for dinner with my Aunt. The facility was large, but mostly empty. There seemed to be only one server on the Resturant side. He was almost running to service his table. We ordered and waited for over 45 minutes to receive out dinner. I expect the kitchen was short staff as the servers. My hamburger was cool to the touch and French fries just warm and hard. My Aunt's chicken was hot b ut hard as a rock. For the price I expected better food. We did not send it back as they were already shutting down the resturant. I notice a 3% sure charge on my check and when I questioned it was shown some junk about pricing. The server was doing his best but the resturant was worst than a Denny's I would not go here for the food, maybe the bar is better but I do not drink. In the area is a Black Angus, they seem to be much better, looking of other places to eat as this one is very disappointing.

I'm sad they removed the sourdough bread bowl from the soups and have super small soup proportions now. I don't even think their cup of soup is a full "cup" measurement. The house salad was just ok. Used to be far better. I was t happy with a 3% service charge. I would have rather them added the 3% to the items. Feels like they're taking advantage.

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is doing awesome! Ok this is my first time coming here but I was near by and noticed it and had a few extra dollars so I treated myself..They have a great selection menu lots to choose from. And my waitress was very nice and gave me plenty of time to decide. The appmisfere is family or date nite very relaxing and nice. Comfortable clothes just not sloppy. I mean I came casual trendy because that's the feeling in here and how I dress everyday..but my advice just be yourself and have a great time. Alcohol is served

It's ok depending on what you order. The lobster BLT is really good. The pretzel bite appetizer is really yummy. The ribs are very good and tender. One person had the salmon Oscar and really liked it a lot

Once we walked in the door it took 10 minutes before we got a table. we ordered the ribeye steak with the shrimp special. The shrimp was overcooked and the steak was very very grizzly. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Yikes, seated at a dirty table. Came in before other guests and they were seated before my kids and I for whatever reason (We're POC party of 4, they seated a white party of 3 who came in after us first even though the restaurant was pretty empty with tons of seating available.... (see photos) maybe they had a reservation... but from my experience I would not recommend eating here just because that does make you wonder. Edit* Changed our review to one star, only because our server was pleasant otherwise it would be a zero. We didn't get any silverware to eat our food or napkins or straws for our drinks. Meanwhile they set silverware across us at other empty booths (many empty tables, like I said this place was relatively empty and not busy at all and now, after our experience, I know why). Check the photos I posted- empty booths where they put silverware and napkins out for guests but sat us at a dirty table with no silverware or napkins provided. Later they handed us cocktail square napkins and napkins from what seemed to be the restroom and said they ran out, which is questionable because right in front of us (at all these empty booths) was literally silverware wrapped in black CLOTH napkins! They could have just given those to us from those tables LOL- again, after being seated after a white family arrived way after us- as people of color (intentional or not) that will make you think that two questionable actions in a row may not be a coincidence at all... especially because it makes sense to just say "oh let me just give you these silverware and napkins not being used by anybody." But sure I will believe you when you say you ran out, maybe he didn't notice we aren't blind. Service like this just seems questionable. The hostess looks angry like she doesn't want to be there and so does the guy who greeted us (there was literally no one at the front to greet guests and we stood there for 10 minutes before the white family walked in and they were immediately seated). I only noticed because we waited there for a bit and was like it's not even busy why the wait, that when they were seated first it was kind of like oh ok now they feel like working. Bottom line I would go elsewhere. What a big disappointment because my mom loved this place. She has officially put this restaurant on the do not visit again list. When she tried to flag the host who walked by for a refill and napkins and silverware his response was "Did you need silverware?" And I tried hard not to reply with well don't most people eat that way? I mean how will you cut your meat? Just pick it up and take a bite with your hands? Mashed potatoes with your hands? I mean come on, use some common sense. I just said yes that would be nice. Because manners matter people. The hostess, host, and service is lacking, the food was burned and bland, no condiments/sauces (they did have salt and pepper but you need steak sauce for the food because what we ordered was bland), no silverware, no napkins, no straws. From our whole experience it would have been better to go to a serve yourself place since that's what it felt like instead of their setup where you have a server and hostess and expect as much in this type of restaurant style but that is not what you will get here. Maybe everyone had an off day but in any case that was our family's exact experience here at this location. Good luck.

DINNER WAS GREAT. IT WAS QUIET BUT IT DID GET A LITTLE WARM. I HEARD A GIRL SAY THE AC WAS OUT. BUT IT WASN'T TERRIBLE. DRINKS WERE GOOD. OVERALL THE ONE THING THAT WAS A CONSTANT POSITIVE WAS THE SERVICE. OUR SERVER NAMED CHRISTOPHER WAS EXCELLENT. HE WAS VERY ATTENTIVE, HELPFUL AND SO NICE. CLAIM JUMPER IS GOOD BUT WITH SERVICE LIKE THAT, YOU JUST CAN'T GO WRONG. THANKS CHRISTOPHER. TIL NEXT TIME.

Two couples went to have dinner tonight. One couple shared a Ribeye steak dinner, the other couple shared a rack of ribs. No bread products come with dinners. The service was good. We had Christopher. The Ribeye was one of the worse we have ever had. The Ribs were good, but the baked potato was hard and old tasting and the cole slaw was bitter tasting. The restaurant, that used to be packed, was mostly empty. The hostess told us they had a staff issue and couldn't handle to many customers. We will not be back anytime soon. We were told the restaurant had new owners. They will be gone soon too.

There were two surprises that didn't set well with me. 1. On the Menu Shoe string potatoes were listed but when the food was delivered they were not served. When I inquired of this I was told they had not had them for a 'long' time. 2. When the bill came there was a surcharge on it that we ere not aware of..
