The food was excellent and the coffee, which can be hit or miss at any given restaurant, was fresh and a good medium to dark roast. There isn't anything special about the building or decor, but I actually liked that it wasn't gimmicky. The tables are all 4-seaters but can be moved to accommodate larger parties - ours was a group of 6 and we didn't have to wait to be seated despite it being a somewhat busy Saturday morning. The wait staff was fast and not too chatty, which I liked, but they also didn't check on us at all so we did have to flag someone down whenever we needed refills. I would absolutely eat there again.Parking: The parking lot was full so we had to park on the street. There are multiple other businesses sharing the same parking lot, so that was a contributing factor.

First time in this place and I really enjoy it. Food and customer service was great. Plate sizes are big so if you don’t eat that much you might want to share with someone. Will definitely return.

I was excited to try this place but I was completely disappointed with the food. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and the salsa tasted really bad. It was a spread of beans on the bottom and it tasted very sour. Guacamole was not fresh and pico de gallo was awful. I pushed my plate to the side and no one check on me to see if I liked the food. Coffee was great though! Definitely not worth it!!!!!

It's cute, it's tasty, and mimosas are $1! Okay, you can get one mimosa for $1 with the purchase of an entree. But that's basically the same thing. I'm really into Benedicts and that's what we got. Portobello mushroom Benedict and smoked salmon Benedict. The Hollandaise was perfect. Eggs nice and runny. So good. We were out with friends and stayed for so long that we decided to get something sweet to wrap up our brunch. Got the stuffed frenchie, which was SO delicious. The strawberry ricotta cream cheese... damn!! Would get this again, 10/10. Such a nice ending to our time there. Loved the outdoor seating, even if people on the street can be a bit sketchy. The service was top notch, super attentive and friendly. We got several refills without prompting. The entire group had a lovely time and I'd definitely come back!

The breakfast I ordered -- Chicken Waffle Benedict -- was such an unmitigated disaster as to warrant a one-star rating on its own. What follows is a true and fair accounting of my experience. Composition-wise, the dish was a waffle with chicken strips, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. It didn't make sense to me conceptually, but I live dangerously (and foolishly). "I love both on their own. Maybe it's fantastic and I'm missing out!" I told myself. Composition-wise, it was a waffle with chicken strips, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. The side of potatoes, which were fine but under-seasoned. The chicken was thin, flavorless and Atacama-dry with the texture of roadside beef jerky. Despite being only a quarter-inch thin, some chef managed to imbue the meat with a rank musk of month-old fryer oil. The waffle was cold and soggy, with no taste whatsoever. The eggs were poached well, but barely covered in a tiny amount of foul, broken, sour hollandaise sauce. Despite the entire dish being under-seasoned, they inexplicably covered it with a huge dose of Tajín. Now, I like Tajín just fine on fruit and around the rim of a margarita, but what it was doing on this dish is a mystery I'll never solve. I really wish the sum of the parts was greater than the whole, but it was the opposite -- my breakfast was a cacophonous, discordant symphony of disgust. The server never once asked me how my meal was, so I paid, tipped and left in silence. Maybe he already knew. Anyway, if you go here, order basic eggs on toast or an omelet. Their absolute tome of a menu contains land mines, and I stepped in one. (not waffle was cold and soggy, despite an utter lack of kno

I am a student at CSUN and today I had time since I arrived to Northridge early. I ventured out and found this gem. Oh M...G!!!! This place was so so good. Uhhhh....YUM!!!! The food had so much flavor it was well cooked and the service was superb!!!! The potatoes were seasoned just right. I accompanied the potatoes with their red salsa and it gave them a kick. The French toast was a little dry. It did not have egg but the meal came with three eggs so I wasn't missing the egg. It tasted more like a buttery, sugar toast. The sugar on it was large grain so once your tongue met those granules you were hooked. I'm not going to lie, egg or no egg it was freaking tasty. The fresh strawberries on top gave it some moist. I'm definitely coming back. Best breakfast I've had in a while. The men at the restaurant were courteous and attentive. Overall great experience!!!!!

The food is super delicious, cooked and plated with love! We have eaten here a few times and it's always consistently great food, extremely flavorful. The service is warm, friendly, and prompt. They are happy to go above and beyond to make sure you're satisfied. Simply incredible service. They have been around since 1955, making their patrons walk out happy with filled bellies. Emle's is a local favorite. The restaurant has a dinner feel and is clean, organized, and ready to serve the public. We had a party of 8 and they took care of us with ease. Keep it going, Sam!!! You are the man!!!

Fantastic menu. Tons of options to choose from. I've been there three times and never left unsatisfied with my food. Got stuffed French Toast, a fig and feta pizza, chicken and a short rib omelette with my family the other night. Everything was delicious. This place needs more attention. It's incredible.

I'm happy to find this place and sorry for finding it late. Such a diverse and large menu, delicious food, and an owner/chef who really knows what he is doing. Not everything on the menu is halal, but there are a lot of halal options, including soujouk, chicken, and beef.
