“Falafel Palace has been here for 52 years. Same family ownership. Gina is a wonderful person. She greets you with sincerity and guides you through the menu if you have questions. Pride in ownership is evident. I used to go here years ago. We finally made time to revisit. The food was wonderful. I had the lamb gyro with double meat (my favorite). Tender, seasoned just right. Tzatziki and spicy sauce onside. Mom had the falafel in pita. It was huge! She enjoyed it so much that she couldn't put it down. My wife had chicken shawarma. Again seasoned just right and tender. Humus, awesome. We were so stuffed. Had to take a baklava home for later.I suggest stopping by and taking a break from your burger routine. It is great to support a local family run business.“
“This spot has the best hummus in the Los Angeles area. The menu options, the aromas, the flavors will teleport and transcend you to an Israeli hummus experience like no other.Every bite was delicious and indeed yummy. There are several vegan options here that would make anyone want to return for more. My wife and I will.If you're in the area, don't miss Hummus Yummy!“
“The reviews about the falafel being amazing are 100% accurate. This was hands down one of the best experiences I’ve had, so good that I went back for seconds.Really well cooked falafel, fresh and airy soft pita, diced cucumber and tomato full of flavor, and a range of sides to help heighten the meal further (special shoutout to their amazing homemade spicy sauce and really well done tahini sauce). Can’t wait to return.“
“I watched an Eater LA video about FurnSaj being one of the best Lebanese restaurants in Los Angeles. This is my kind of place! It is a simple counter restaurant in a strip shopping center in Granada Hills with additional locations in Glendora and Calabasas. You have everything from flatbreads and traditional Mediterranean meals to choose from. I went with the cheese boreg mana’ish and the spinach pie. Both were reasonable and delicious! They give a lot of food for the money. They take cash and credit cards as well as Apple Pay and other mobile payment options. Restaurant employees and guests were wearing masks. Based on how great the flatbreads taste, I would definitely go back and try some of the other options on the menu.“
“I've been coming here since 1992 or earlier. This is one of my best childhood memories. I remember when the owner had all the autographed pictures of famous people in the walls. I remember he' always said his mother makes the best and has the best recipes, top secret! If you want falafel this is the best. At 44 years old I am still trying to figure out his hot sauce. I crave it. But I'm in Orange County. If I ever go to LA I go there. My wish would be for him to open up in Orange County :)“
“Wow. The food is excellent, but the star of Flame Grill is Judah. He was super helpful and made sure I was well-taken care of. Very friendly and professional and a genuinely pleasant person to work with. Extremely accommodating, too. Thanks to this fellow, I will be back.“
“I live 30 minutes away but this is the only spot that I don't mind driving down to the valley for!!!. Each time it's as fresh and bomb as the first time I came. 5 stars for the quality and taste of the food and the kind Empolyees at the falafel truck !!!!!“
“Stopped in for a later lunch after strolling around the LA Zoo for a few hours. Unfortunately, they were out of beef shawarma (and don't serve it with lamb), so Jim G. and I opted to share the Rib Eye Plate. We had to wait about 8 minutes or so for the rib eye to cook, which is totally fine. The plate is massive! All the sides on it, plus eggplant and fries on another plate. We also opted to order a little falafel to taste and they were very tasty! The rib eye was but there wasn't really a lot of it there. I realize it's an expensive meat, but the $30 plate cost is comparably more expensive than the other meats. We shared a bottle of red wine ($37) and chilled out with our friends, who all enjoyed their food, too. Huge parking lot in the back, with just a short walk to get to the front of the shopping center, where Tel Aviv is.“
“Since the first Shabbat that I arrived in America we have been looking for Shabbat catering, since then for about a year we have been coming here every Friday and before holidays to buy kosher and delicious Shabbat catering. I don't know what we would do without this place. He always saves us at the last moment. The owner of the place Dudu always has a sense of humor and good energy!“
“Best Mediterranean food... very generous served. Reasonably priced.. got all the basic of best lunch shawarma, kobob, spicy sausage... great sauces whether spicy, tachini, or spicy mango sauce. And great cabbage ( green or red) and vegetable salad and to add the extra mile grilled jalapeño, and jabka.( yellow spicy pepper) . What a treat... although wasn't very hungry, couldn't resist to eat with great appetite. One glitch, the fried eggplant was soak with oil.. also its known to. Be like sponge for oil, there's ways to lower the vein. Blocker on the veg...Yet overall am amazing treat on a cold, long day.“
“Really great restaurant. It was my first time ordering and the cashier was so sweet and helpful. It's really nice to come in to a place where the workers have a smile on their face and greet their customers and make them feel welcomed. As for the food, it was delicious the chicken laffa wrap was so good and filling. The fresh laffa was nice and warm and the ingredients were fresh and went really well together. I will definitely come back again.“
