Chef Bryan has 25 years of "experience" yet the food he serves is horrible! There had been reports of students getting sick or food poisoned and the food he puts out is absolutely horrible! Do I eat there at times? Yes, but I have to be careful and pray that I don't get sick from the food. (Also one time they had runny ranch sauce and it looked like glue *metaphorically speaking* and I got diarrhea from it for an hour, it sucked).

The food is not good here at all, I've never finished a plate out of the 2 years I've been at csun. I usually just end up eating fries for dinner every night because that's the only decent thing they have. Any other time I have tried to eat their food I've gotten a stomachache.

i am vegan so i dont have anything to say about anything not labeled vegan, although im not sure how much i trust those labels considering half the time they aren't there. during my first few weeks i encountered hairy tofu. i try not to think about it for my own sanity. the chips are stale 100% of the time and there is no milk anywhere for your cereal. sometimes the apple pie is labeled vegan, and i trusted the label enough to try jt and it was good. the best part of gmos is the infused water. also the fortune cookies in bamboo. attached is a photograph of turkey leg they had today.

This place is weird. One day they’ll have some genuinely good food and the next it’s inedible. They also have a habit of getting rid of the best and most consistent food options - they used to have a Mexican area that would always have decent rice, beans, meat, and tortillas or chips but they removed it for some reason. Same with sushi - it wasn’t anything special but it was okay and they got rid of it.Keep in mind, at around 4:30 pm they get rid of all the food for a half hour to prepare for dinner, which is ridiculous. One thing that’s nice is they have a dedicated allergen free section for people with food allergies, which is great for me because I can’t have gluten. I can’t in good faith recommend you eat here though because it’s usually not very good. Last note - if you don’t go to college at CSUN, keep in mind if you go here you’ll be surrounded by college kids while you eat. It’s up to you if that’s a good or a bad thing.

Hector yelled at me after I told him I didn’t like the food here. I had diarrhea after. Not fun. Too many Mexicans there too. That ruined the vibe for me.

Some of the best food ever. Check are awesome. The grill pizza and egg bar are amazing. Get an omlette just how you like it.Vegetarian options: Don't bring your kids. It makes it better for everyone. Kids are dirty
The vegetables are always good if you are vegetarian. my favorite part is the Asian side but they don't open until 5pm. It's not as good as it was before the pandemic but it's getting better. They used to have more dessert options. The waffles are always good and available all day. I always enjoy breakfast. I hope they open the Asian side back up for lunch soon.Vegetarian options: They have a lot of vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: Lots of kid friendly options and they usually have the TV on cartoons

THIS PLACE IS SO HORRIBLE OH MY GOD. Four people were sent to the hospital for food poisoning. I would rather starve than eat here some nights

I LOVE the chef's creativity here... I especially love the creative liberty to add cardboard for extra flavoring/ seasoning in the dishes! :)
