Quality of their kalbi changed significantly. Seems their using alternate or cheap grade meat. Never again...

Love love love this place!!! Food and service are amazing. I definitely recommend this spot over others in the valley area.

Great service. Clean and nice restaurant. All you can eat is a bit pricey based on the fact that much of our cuts of meat were extremely chewy and fatty; and not really edible. The pieces that were well cut, were delicious. Lots of good choices. No macaroni salad which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a good experience, but would probably choose a different Korean bbq spot.

Rude staff. They don't know how to respect their boundaries. My husband felt bad because he was cooking and one of their staff just got the tongs from him without even being respectful or even just asking if my husband needed help. We understand your desire to show that you wanted to look very helpful but you should know your boundaries or at least ASK if we needed your help, not barging-in and get the tong from the one who's cooking. We know what we want and how we want our meats to be cooked. Speaking of what we want, we brought our kids (1 year old and the other one 3 years old). My son has been trained to eat "BABY-LEAD WEANING WAY" & he has more than 8 teeth already. I gave a thinly sliced (but enough for my son) to hold brisket to my husband asking him to give it to our son. My husband knows what to do and we know what our son is capable of. WE ARE THE PARENTS, and we know what we are doing. It is just so upsetting to see that while the staff was holding SCISSORS, she grabbed the meat that I gave to my husband and said "No, no, too big!! Too big!!" Again, he grabbed it from my husband and point the scissors to my son's plate (planning to cut the meat). She almost cut my son's fingers when she did that out of surprise and in the middle of eating. My son is eating and you suddenly barge in like that? Okay. We let it slide again and think that they are just being helpful. I wanted to lecture her about how we feed our son, what our son wants and what he doesn't want. We are the parents and we know our kids better than you. At least ask us if you wanted to do something. Don't just do it because you thought you were right and we were wrong -- ESPECIALLY if it is about our children. No parents would want to harm their child. We know what is choking for our child and what is NOT. Again, he has more than 8 teeth and he is BLW, we have specific sizes NON-CHOKING SIZES for our child. I gave it another try and think that they are just trying to show that they are helpful even though you did not ask for their help. Next, my daughter is 3 years old who loves spicy. She has a strong tolerance to spicy food just like me and my husband. Hanoo's soup is not spicy at all for us and for our child. So, we know the capability of our child on what is tolerable for her or not. She really wanted to drink the soup (again, which is from our tolerance level, and my child's, the soup is not spicy). I offered her a sip because she asked for it because she was actually craving for GEN'S spicy soup and we didn't go to GEN thinking that we go to Hanoo and give it a try BUT here is the staff again saying with a loud voice, "NO! NO! NO mama! Spicy for her!" And grabbed my bowl. My daughter was surprised and confused. I answered "SHE LIKES SPICY." and my husband added, "YES, SHE DOES." She was like, "oh. Okay" And grabbed the tongs again. What is upsetting for us is the disrespect she is showing us in front of our children and their Boundaries. Not just this staff but even the manager. They only treat you right when it is time to pay. With a smile. My daughter ended up asking us why the people at Hanoo are like that, why they almost cut my son's finger, disrespectfully took over my husband's time to cook, talking to us with a loud voice. She ended up craving spicy soup and kept on saying "but the woman. She told us that it is very very spicy. The exaggeration of the woman's reaction without asking us the tolerance of our child. Lastly, don't come here from 10pm onwards, we also had an experience with them (not on the same day from what I have mentioned above regarding boundaries). Don't come here at 10pm onwards because you cannot order more meat that you need considering that their last serving is 11pm. You pay $35 and they tell you that the last serving is 11pm, so if you arrive around 10:25 and ask for more meat in order to keep up with the time from cooking + eating, they want you to eat everything that y

Food is excellent and the service is almost too good to be true for a Korean bbq spot. I love the quality of their meats. I would choose Hanoo over Gen any day. I'm only knocking 1 star off due to the 15% tip that is included in the bill. My wife and i are big tippers and we actually planned on leaving way more then 15% because of the service we got but we saw it was included. I don't think it's ever fair for a business to decide on what you should tip them. In any case, you can always tell them to remove the gratuity and or refuse to pay that portion of it.

No wait for seating! Every item we ordered was out within 2 minutes! The quality of meat was great. The bulgogi and prime beef were so tender! The seafood was not so great....The shrimp and squid were both frozen, and the squid was especially chewy.

I haven't had KBBQ since pre Covid so it was time to come back. This place is under new management and a new name from before Covid. They are a few dollars more than other local kbbq spots, but definitely a fun experience. I came with two of my girlfriends and we had a lovely time. The service was amazing and they changed our grill multiple times, gave us refills, and brought our meats out quickly. They have two different menus to choose from depending what kind of premium meats you want. I came during the week so there was no wait. The weekends tend to be busy, but totally worth the wait!

I was just sent away because I wanted to dine alone. I've been bringing my family here multiple times a month for the past year. It's a shame. Try to support small businesses and they treat once loyal customers this way.

A friend suggested Hanoo Kalbi for our Saturday night KBBQ crave. The wait wasn't as long as my favorite local spot in West Hills. Service was very friendly. The dishes were decent. It's a couple more dollars for all you can eat than my go to spot, but thats fine. The atmosphere as you can imagine is lively. One perk that stood out to me was the dessert/coffee places within the parking lot for after dinner treats! Since I have a little sweet tooth, this is a big plus for me LOL!

It was a group of 4 of us, we felt super rushed, We will probably never go here again and just wait in line for much better Kbbq which is GEN!@ Server or the owner was super rude, our food was slowly cooking and the manager kept coming and asking if we want more food, and he got mad and just brought the check to us while the food was cooking. 0 Stars.

My friends and I always come here to eat barbecue, they have really nice and healthy foods. The atmosphere is really nice and comfortable. The service is so good, they are so nice to us and treat them as how you want to be treated. As long being kind and polite to them they will treat you sooo well!!! I saw I child crying and the waiter jogging to that kid to ask what happened, then the waiter give that kid a popsicle to calm down that kid.

I've been coming to this building for years the name changes here and there, but as Hanoo Kalbi I think their kbbq is great! The service was actually so good the staff is constantly coming around making sure we're good. Learning how to properly grill as someone who's been recently promoted to designated griller, the lady helping explained which meats should cook first to not immediately burn the grill haha. It's very big inside and the cute frogs by the front desk are so cute.
