got this as takeout. Got the whole chicken plus the chicken wings. They were fine...wasn't the best fried chicken I've had but did its job. Corn side dish and radish slaw are misses; didn't make sense for me.

Wow, my second time grabbing food at this Holdaak location yesterday. I ordered the 20 piece meal with 2 ordered of French fries and drinks. The chicken is so crispy and good. I do not understand any complaints at all over the food. They have big selections of dips and all. Some you have to spend extras on, but that's cool. I am still waiting for locations in Orange County where I live.

This place is alright. The chicken is not made to order. (There was a rack of 50+ fried chicken just waiting for dinner orders) The pro is you won't have to wait terribly long for your order. We will probably be back only because it's near our daughter's class on Friday and she always wants chicken after her class. But don't drive far for this place. Fun fact - they are going to start serving ramen with self-serve water heating stationsl! Pretty cool - can definitely see they are trying to cater to nearby college students.

Love their Holdaak spicy chicken sandwich with comes with spicy chicken strips, comeback sauce with daikon slaw on a brioche bun! Every bite is packed with crunch and flavor. The spices from the chicken, sweetness from the bun, and freshness from the slaw compliments one another. The spice chicken sandwich is also amazing which which comes with cole slaw, pickles, comback sauce on a brioche bun. :P The wings are a hit during our family gatherings. We normally order the flavored wings and original wings. They are double fried which makes them quite crispy. The original were great for the kids. I LOVE the spicy dry rub packed with the perfect amount of flavor. The seoul spice (nice kick) and caramel soy are wet flavors and are also good. The 20 pcs. wings come with 4 complimentary dipping sauces and the 10 pcs. wings come with 2 complimentary sauces. Dipping sauce flavors include comeback, ranch, honey mustard, and Seoul spicy and caramel soy (add'l fee). The shake fries are nicely cajun seasoned and the elote corn slaw is yummy. Located in the plaza southeast of Reseda Blvd. and Nordhoff St., next to Starbucks, with plenty of parking.

Holdaak has been on my list for a few months now, tried it the other day and was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Got the 5 piece tenders, with 2 spicy and 3 Seoul spicy. Every tender was actually crispy and juicy! And the sweetness from the comeback sauce pairs perfectly with the tender spice. Only downside was I'd like a little more fries. Pricing wasn't bad compared to other chicken places nowadays and the place was pretty clean. I'll definitely be coming back.

The definition of Korean Friend Chicken. Their chicken slider/sandwiches are the prefect amount of crispiness and their Holdaak sauce is the perfect balance between spicy and tasty. It does not only BURN it stimulates you tastes buds. PERFECT FORMULATION. 10/10 would eat again... and again.

I don't see the hype. It should be rated 3.5. There's no unique taste and the chicken tastes like it was brought at the market frozen aisle. looks great tastes low quality.
I love there food it's by far the best chicken spot around here. I just don't understand that ordering online gets me less??? You get a drink with your order if you go into the restaurant to order. If you order online you don't get a drink for the same price as the meal with a drink??? I order after work so I can get home and enjoy my food. I don't want to wait 15 minutes for my food. For a $14 meal it's really upsetting.

Had the original Holdaak fried chicken sandwich with Daikon slaw, fries, and one original chicken strip. Very good flavor, and most importantly very moist and tender. We did DoorDash so not able to rate the atmosphere. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Craving some Korean soy garlic wings, the flavor was really good and the batter they used was super crunchy and filling. I got a side of fries it is pricey for wings but Korean wings usually are on the pricier side. Service was quick loved the vibe of the place lots of places to sit, they also sell soju which is cool. Wish they had combo meals or lower prices. Will try a diff flavor next time

Hot Chicken Gauntlet Part 7Sandwich: 10/10One of the best sandwiches weve tried so far! Had a very comfortable level of spice, and it was not the star of the show. It had a great sweetness from the sauce and slaw to mingle spice. It was very complex and enjoyable. Portion size was fantastic, just right. The combo comes with one sandwich, which has with two strips!Slaw: 10/10Star of the experience, it was such a sweet and cool flavor. Worked well with amazing crunch. Had both daikon radish, picked onions, AND green bell pepper. Managed to make the sandwich refreshing while still spicy. Great crunch- not soggy at all.Sauce: 7/10Had a great consistency, thick but still able to spread. Had a nice twinge of sweetness Honestly beneficial that it was not a standout because the sandwich was a powerhouse itself.Fries: 6/10Basic, good serving. VERY fresh and hot!
