Great meal! We went to Islands in Porter Ranch and had the best waitress, Laura! She was so friendly and helpful! Lunch was great - promptly seated and served. We will go back soon! Special thanks to Laura for taking good care of my grandson and I ?Kid-friendliness: Music and TV's with skiing and surfing videos. Sports on TV's in bar. There is plenty of background noise to cover kids. Also, outside dining near the waterfallWheelchair accessibility: Yes. Double door entry with wide aisles.
This review is solely for Giselle, such a great wonderful service. Of course the food is well-known and the ambience is very good but Giselle added great experience for today. Thank you again. And keep it up.

Went for dinner 4/13/24. Got seated quick, the hosts were great. Ordered with a polite server. Wife got an Big Wave with cheese and I got the Kaanapali Cobb. Burger was as expected, tasty and same size as always--pre-pandemic although more moolah. The salad.. sad. real sad. Says it has avocado. Take a small avocado, slice it into halves. Then take one half and slice thin slices. Then take 2 of those thin slices and dice them small... add to salad. Very little lettuce, which is one of the cheaper ingredients, you would think they would load it with more lettuce as filler, but no, we both looked at it and commented about "where's the lettuce?" Asked for no bleu cheese crumbles, but it had em. Overall, I would give this Salad a 7 for flavor but a 2 for value.

My husband and I we used to visit this restaurant with his grandparents. It has been a while so we decided to bring our son here. He loves burgers so this made sense. The burgers were not as big as I remember but they were delicious. We had appetizers as well and everything was delicious. Parking is definitely not an issue. Customer service was great ! The inside is decorated like surfer vibes. It was great :)

Gotta love Islands - and this location was a winner! When I come here I expect some good ol' bar food bites and drinks. It was pretty crowded at dinner time on a Saturday but only a 10 minute wait, which we were able to make a 0 minute wait by snagging two open seats at the bar. The bartender attended to us very quickly and I fully enjoyed my beer, spinach artichoke dip, and dinner. I got the bleunami burger and added bacon (highly recommended!). The burger was messy yet delicious and the fries were good and crispy and flavorful. They even gave me a side of blue cheese for dipping and it was a great chunky blue cheese - so if you're a fan, you'll love it! I couldn't even finish the meal but it definitely hit the spot.

I've been going here since I was 8 years old. It's my absolute favorite go to restaurant should I need something quick, easy, and reliable. Never once has service been bad. It's always been great and to my expectations which I love. The vibes of the restaurant was always been nice and made me feel at home or in a summer type area being an island themed restaurant. The decoration along with the tvs playing games always makes me happy once I step in. The food is just plain good. I mean that in the best way possible because it doesn't need anything lavish, special, or exotic to just be fun and great to eat. This location at one point had a salad which isn't there anymore due to owner ship changes which is fine. I end up having a customized salad which is similar. I'm planning on going later today!

I also have food allergies and she ensured me the food would be prepared safely, and it was! Maddy also spent time chatting with us at our table and made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. We both used to serve and know how hard it is having a full section, getting food out correctly and quickly, and making a good impression on each person that walks in. We will ask for her every time we return to islands in porter ranch!
