Have no idea why this place is so crowded and popular. Yes the food is good and they have a big menu. The prices are not low but fair and not overpriced like other joints in the area. However the service stinks, the female servers are rude & it is so noisy you can't even think straight. The place needs a renovation to update, redo to give more room & maybe an outside patio option. 3 of us went yesterday & after being ignored once seated, following a 20 minute wait for a table, the waitress brought our 3 meals out separately 10 minutes apart! Plus, she was crabby. That will mark my LAST and final time eating at Kings. I'd rather pay a tad more for better service elsewhere.

The staff at this restaurant are commendable for their excellent service and the food is also delicious, making it a popular spot, especially on weekends when there's even a waiting list. However, there's a significant issue that detracts from the dining experience: the restrooms are not cleaned regularly. Consequently, there's an unpleasant odor throughout the dining area, which can be quite off-putting while eating.

I went last night for my father's bday, and as usual it's still the best sushi restaurant I've been too PERIOD. I got the chance to meet one of the co-owners and had a great discussion with them! Everyone there is always kind, fast yet caring when serving any and all food and/or drinks. The food as usual is just top tier and has never not been consistently amazing each time. I URGE anyone who wants sushi to give them a call, reserve a table, and just enjoy. I can't wait to return. If anyone wants any recommendations, here are our orders (in order of when we place them). Again, this is just preference, everything is amazing. We are a party of 4 and DEFINITELY, can eat. First order: Edamame (plain, spicy, or both), shishito peppers, spicy tuna with crispy rice, extra ginger and wasabi. Second order: 1 order Tuna, salmon, and yellowtail nigiri, 2 orders of albacore(each order of nigiri usually comes in 2 pieces so keep this in mind), and a spicy tuna roll. Third order: Roasted jalapeño role, lemon role, creamy Langostino roll, albacore lovers role, and got sushi role.

Thought it was when my husband told me we're gonna go get sushi at Kings Burger. My first thought was sushi at a burger place... My mind was boggled then when we walked in, I saw the sushi bar and the fresh fish and I was like OK I can get on board. I saw how clean the restaurant was. I saw how all the food that came out looked very delicious. The service and staff were very sweet and kind and efficient. When I sat down I reviewed the menu. The only thing I didn't like was I couldn't see pictures of some of the specialty rolls and for me, I like there to be a visual of what the rolls look like For my form of ADD and anxiety when looking at a large menu. We ended up getting three rolls of bonus roll and a bowl and walked out well, I feel like we probably could've been rolled out. Lol We were so full and so satisfied, we will definitely be back hungry for more. Items had in photos and the free roll was called the Red shrimp tempura roll amazing!

Ordered a turkey club with fries for delivery and the bread was soggy the the fries were cold and the bacon tasted old/spoiled. Wish I could give a 0 star review

I've been here a few times and the food was delicious! The fish is of the upmost quality and the sushi is innovative. Love their burgers as well! They are extremely busy but, despite that, the staff have always been attentive.

I go to CSUN and live around the area, I was getting tired of the food around the area and came across kings burger got sushi!! The restaurant is super cute, the energy is great, everyone is super friendly! The combination of sushi and burgers just blows my mind everytime I visit. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area for some authentic sushi experience or all American burgers and sandwiches.

Everything about this place is top notch. The only downside is it can get extremely busy during lunch and dinner (and in between). But that speaks highly of the restaurant! People keep coming back!

I haven't been to Kings in so long, and I used to be a regular for years. The crunch teriyaki bowl has more meat now, and it tastes delicious! The service is always great as the cashier is very friendly :) Kings will always be my favorite spot to eat in the valley. Although the parking can be a pain, I usually just park at Dunkin's.
3rd visit within 1 month, and all 3 times have been quite impressive with their food quality and attentive and friendly service. It just gets a bit too loud and tight during busy times.

Went to kings last week for the first time and I can't wait to come back for more the food was really good. They also have something on the menu for everyone. The service was good considering they were packed house and the environment was also in a good place everyone dining there was smiling and enjoying themselves highly recommended the kanpachi sesame miso it's soooooo goood

Everything is so fresh melt in your mouth good. The service is great staff is friendly and they're so quick to bring food out. Haven't tried the burger menu but sushi is fire.

Kings burger has been the go to spot for me and my friends when I was in CSUN. They have great burgers and sushi, which is hard to find around the area. The staff is friendly and the place just has good energy all around. I would definitely recommend for anyone in the area for quick bite or dine in experience.

Scallop scavenger hunt I can't figure out why my scallops order gets missed. Has happened in two visits and had to cancel since they didn't bring it for a while. Their sushi is consistently high quality with right consistency of rice and fish. Love their rolls and the precise combination of fish with other ingredients like yuzu, avocado, and jalapeno. One of the best in the valley. Love it for their consistency, variety, and quality. Overall, a great sushi place in the valley.
