Came in again this weekend for the classic aloha bbq mix! It's my favorite on the menu. I love the meat variety and always forget they give so much! It could be easily shared or saved for a second meal. There's more meat under the chicken, and the rice and macaroni really seal the deal. I like that there is veggies under the meat because it packs more flavor in the greens and adds a nice balance to the meat. Food comes out quickly and just like before, the vibe is very relaxing and easygoing whether I come alone or with company :))

Got kalubi short ribs to go. Not very good. Tough. No sauce or glaze on them, just some teriyaki sauce in cups. Mac salad fair. Won't try again.

Plates got smaller with less food. Will not be coming back. ..not what it used to be. Was a fan previously but they bought smaller plates that they're using with less food and a higher price.
Love this place. I ate the Aloha BBQ combo. They let you substitute veggies or salad for rice, and their Mac salad is local-style. My friends commented that their katsu was great. Portions were filling. Of course we had the mini malasadas. They were hot, with a crispy-crusty sugary outside, and soft pillowy inside. Sorry no pics. I ate it all.

Cashier up at the front was rude and dismissing, when I asked what the the sides were, she rolled her eyes and said to read it off the menu up top, she kept using her phone and didn't once look up to make eye contact when I was ordering, when my order was served to go, she opened it and took it out of sight, needless to say I didn't eat it and there was no point in asking for my money back
