Before I give my rating, let me say u can 100%give a legit honest review for the following reasons:I used to work here up until they switched owners ( as a hostess)and I had everything on the original menu.Today, was my first time eating there with new owners. It was unbelievably dead and void of people, lacked the ambiance it once had. No owners on site,no hamd menus,it appeared ti be sorta like a combination between fast food and restaurant picking from a wall menu and serving your own drinks in plastic cups.We were served on metal trays with paper on them, they don't serve the food on plates but paper and small paper trays. My son (13) said the trays made it feel like he was in a prison. His ribs were lukewarm, as was my try tip.I ate paper withmy meal because I had ti cut my try tip ,therefor tearing the paper on trays.when we got there only 3 tables (including us) were in rosies. My sonsbaked beans look dry and left over.I want to note that I don't favor either owner as I met him when he first came ,He's friends with the original owner. What I will say is I miss the original menu, environment, servers and I miss the family friendly it original had. There was always laughter, conversations ppl catching up and the owner was always involved in one way or another. I wasn't comfortable here and we only ate half of food before deciding to go home .my son looked at me and said" it was alright" I don't see us coming back here ,we'll maybe as a second d option. And he's 13. On a good note I really appreciate the bus boy (God forbid they have servers) reheating my food and checking to see if there's egg in the rolls. He was super friendly ( an African American fellow wearing all black) .His kindness was thr only positive aspect at rosies bbq and grillery on carbon in Northridge.

Came here with my boyfriend for the first time never been here. Saw the reviews that we try it. The girl in the front was super nice and super helpful. She helped us to our order. Her service was great the way the restaurant looked was very midwestern. love the ambience it was low light to make it a little bit more romantic but they did have lid seats, as well as the food was amazing we shared and we were so full. We couldn't even finish. We'll be coming here again and recommending.

At my job we had a company lunch and they served us beef tri tip, chicken, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes with gravy and a garlic bun. I've been wanting to try this BBQ place joint for quite some time now. I'm not sure how long the smoking process was, but in my experience it could have been longer time. I felt like the tri tip needed more time in the smoker as well as the chicken. Chicken was a bit raw but with lots of flavor. Not disappointed cuz the lunch was given to us at 9:30 am and I know it takes some time to get it to perfection. However I'm only going based on my experience at work. I will be going to this joint and will give you more stars... I like the other reviewers pictures and comments. Can't wait to go.

Taste: 3.5Creativity/Authenticity: 4Atmosphere: 4Service: 5Bang for your buck: 3.5The breakdown- Tri tip - Brisket very fatty - baby back ribs fall off the bone goodness- jalapeños sausage dry inside texture- corn bread -onion strings Overall solid meal, very heavy so dinner would be best! Service here is great and fast turnaround. Thanks will be back to try other meats and sides

We had not been here in a while even though it is close to the house. I am sure they have changed owners since the pandemic and not really taking care of this restaurants legacy. Pre-pandemic, we would visit here at least once a month. They had an excellent salad bar and food was always predictably good. On our recent visit for dinner, I have to say I was quite disappointed. As I said, not been here for a while. The new owners (and I am only assuming this as the place seemed to have changed drastically) have really not kept to the old Rosie's standard. The salad bar that used to be a highlight of each visit, is gone. They no longer have table service. You order at the front desk and they deliver food to your table, which in itself, would not make my review this harsh. Also gone is the senior menu, that I enjoyed as it saved on cost, a little. The BBQ chicken breast dinners that we ordered, the chicken seemed overcooked and dry. Dinners come with one of their sides. I wanted a baked potato. I was informed that they were all sold out. How does this happen at a restaurant on a Saturday night at only 6:30, when the place is mostly empty! I settled on the fully loaded mashed potatoes. Tasted mostly good and a good portion size, but was very salty! I did not want to complain and wait for another order. My GF ordered the corn on the cob as her side. At the desk they asked if she wanted it with special seasoning. In our mind, this conjured the idea that it would have something like "elote" seasoning. What she received was plain BBQ corn on the cob, salted. Really! that's what you call special seasoning??? Through out our meal, the restaurant remained mostly devoid of patrons, with the exception of a few take out orders. Several of the tables where patrons had dined, had not been bussed, or cleaned. No reason to see 3 tables full of dirty dishes, from the time we came in until the time we left. Where is the manager in this place??? As far as I'm concerned , sad to say, but with all of the other dining options in the area, no reason to come back to Rosie's

Love Rosie's! Their Tri tip is delicious and cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese is yummy and so is their bbq chicken salad. The only thing I will say are the garlic rolls are not as good as they used to be, so much so that I can actually not eat bread when I go, unless I get the Tri tip sandwich, then I eat bread. Besides the rolls there's nothing there that's not delicious.

I went here for the first time a while back and their bbq was actually pretty good. I was actually able to see outside where they were doing the bbq! The service was good. The ambiance was simple and more of a family vibe.
