Whenever I visit this place with my family, we are always impressed by the excellent service, the elegant presentation, and the delicious food. Visited Katsuya for dinner. The dining area was small and "atmosphere " nonexistent. The mixed tempura was small for 3 people and the vegetables were not fresh. The rolls were fair, but mostly rice with a very small fish portion.

Today for what ever reason service was bad. Waiting outside and service was outside. It seemed like our table wasn't assigned to anyone so we just waited and when the maitre'd came by had to flag him down. Their miso soup has a chemical taste. It's the fake soup.
