Love reading the reviews on this joint. Being born and raised in K-town, I have a high bar for Korean-Chinese food. This is the best option (not a lot of options in SFV) for me to get my fix outside of K-town. Yes, she isn't the friendliest but she does warm up to you if you patronize her business. It's a family owned shop with dad or son (we believe) manning the kitchen. It isn't the best but it's consistent and convenient. We know what to expect and have learned to love it. There are some sleeper hits like the shrimp fried rice too. It's just divey enough to keep the squids away and keeps the line nice and short when I stop by to eat. Until something new pops up in the valley, we'll keep coming here to get our Korean-Chinese fix. Pro-tip: bring a drink if you don't want free water. :)

My daughter loves this place. She thinks is so adorable that a older man is the one cooking the food and not any woman as traditionally expected. Overall I recommend this place and the sodas are affordable when you have 3 kids! That a plus!

Ordered jiajangmyeun 짜장면 to go. It was acceptable, but fairly bland. As usual, I needed to rinse the noodles in hot water when home to separate them before adding sauce.
I ordered jjajangmyeun 짜장면 on recommendation of my coworker. It was OK. It had a lot of oil, though. The lady wasn’t friendly to me, but it’s ok I won’t see her again. It does come with sides of jjajang, pickled daikon, and sweet onion and cucumber on top as it should. I’ll just make it at home next time.

Ever since I tried this place years ago, I would drive out here to grab lunch and even dinner in the same day. The same lady has been working there for years and although she doesn't talk much, she's very nice and will ask if you need onions for your order (I usually say no since I don't need it and am fine with extra radish). I usually come here for their dumplings which are probably my favorite Korean dumplings in the area. Something about them are just so perfectly fried with the best fillings and sauce to dip them in. They have jajangmyeon as well but I can't remember if I've tried them. I'm sure I have at some point but the dumplings always win. This little spot is located in the very corner of the food court.
