The food was good and the restaurant was clean. The service was good but could have been more helpful.

This place has a C health code rating. But the chicken teriyaki bowls are solid for lunch. It is probably the best C health code rating place in all of existence, if that means anything. The ramen has good broth but has instant noodles. Come here if you want a restaurant experience of all time.

I met a friend here for dinner. We both ordered ramen and garlic edamame, and took our seat by the front door. During our very enjoyable meal, a moth decided it was out for revenge and kamikazed right into my ramen. I was about 3/4 of the way done. I was bummed. I took my bowl to show the cashier and she was probably just as mortified as I was. I asked if I could get new broth, an equivalent amount to what was in the bowl, and some noodles. She happily obliged. In fact they went way above as they handed me a bowl about half way full. I was very grateful and required a to-go container. Afterwards, I needed to treat myself to some strawberry mochi which she happily took care of as well. I insisted the generosity wasn't necessary but she was sure it was on the house. Needless to say, I am very fond of the customer service. That alone will bring me back. And the ramen you ask, that was good too. In fact I consumed my leftovers at work and received several onlookers wondering where I got it

I'll stick to Cerritos location not only is it cheaper but taste better, you get bigger portions and better quality of ingredients, this place was not worth the price tag! Very disappointed! Won't be going back, there a reason it was empty inside when we walked in.

I have noticed that every Yasai I go to has different ways of preparing their Vegetable roll. The Norwalk location, this one, has a great taste with the pickled radish pickle and sprout add on. You also get a side of salad but no miso soup. For the price compared to the other restaurants, you get much more for your money somewhere else. 5 pieces of roll when at other locations you can get 8 pieces plus a HEAPING amount of salad and a free miso soup. Don't get me wrong though, the service is amazing. Staff are excellent! The mood of the whole place was...lonely. I think I saw one other person come in? And this was my first time stopping by. I'm willing to go again but not for the rolls. The price for the rolls is not very justified.

We love to stop by after watching a movie. Small and unassuming but delicious ramen and sushi rolls. Recommend the black ramen, white ramen, and the yasai ramen (spicy). They serve sushi rolls with tasty side salad. You order and pick up your own food at the counter. Drink options are limited to bottled drinks you grab from a fridge.

Very disappointed experience...They have changed ownership or just don't care any more.I ordered the spicy pork plate. The miso soup was bland, tasted like some rinse out the container to make the soup...The spicy pork had no camelization, and not spicy...The salad was still wet, that thinned out the salad dressing and had everything swing around in the shallow plastic tray that it was served in. I give them credit... they used iceberg lettuce to prop up the rice and the pork to make the plate look like bigger portion. The ambience was like a storage room, stuff stack against the walls, they removed the drink dispenser and change the tables and chairs. The dining area was warm and humid. Sorry... but you just don't care about your business anymore and just living on your old rep... oh ya! Very over priced too. You can only bland the pandemic so much... please write to kitchen nightmares to get some help...

Well just finished lunch and it was pretty good. The portions were good and it tasted really good. Service was very friendly and prompt. The place is clean and open space. Not sure why this place has 3.5 stars. This place is a hidden gem.

Highly recommend to stop by, ramen was warm and filling and the sushi was fresh, the baked ones are tasty as well. Dining in is the best experience and you get the food fast, workers are nice and give a welcoming experience and it's clean with music playing, The appetizers are all worth trying and they have mochi desert. I love coming here my favorite for a lunch with the bowls.Yasai Ramen

We walked into the restaurant tonight and ordered a chicken teriyaki plate and a salmon plate. We live only 3 minutes from the restaurant but when we sat down to eat, the chicken was cold like it was right out of the refrigerator. It wasn't even warm. It was cold and dry. The only thing warm was the rice and soup. The salmon dinner was warm and edible. We were dissatisfied and won't be returning. Too bad because it used to be a good place with quality meals nearby.
