Fonzis never disappoints! I usually call in my orders so I can pick up and get home to eat! These carne asada fries were bomb! They use two types of cheese, the fries I get them extra crispy, EXTRA jalapeños, and it's always so fresh! Don't forget your horchata!! This place is located in grub hub! This is my favorite taco truck!!!!

Great tacos - their carne ascareded is the best - they give you enough meat and enough tortillas to make four tacos out of two - prices only $2.25 a taco

We have visited both trucks and the food is amazing at which ever location you want to check out. The owners are super friendly and it is a great experience. If you or the whole office is hunger it's a wonderful place to go.

I've been coming to Fonzis since 2015 when he was in the tile shop parking lot on carver/9th. Their food is always on point and their staff is hella cool. Fonzi's himself is a great guy very humble. I highly recommend you grabbing food from them you won't be disappointed. They now have 2 locations one at the grub hubs and the other on the corner of Mchenry and standiford.

I have wanted to try this taco truck on Mc Henry @ the gas station. I ordered a chicken, carnitas, and 2 al pastor taco's. It may be a personal preference, but I like my taco meat cooked/charred on the grill. The carnitas and al pastor were like stew meat. I am not sure if it was to be pico de gallo but more watery chopped tomatoes. Which meant a soggy taco. The chicken one was soo dry, I gave the meat to my cat. When I ordered at the window, they barely said a word, and the window just closed. I noticed many food items listed on the truck that looked interesting weren't available and crossed out. I was going to go back up to the window and ask, but they or whomever didn't seem friendly. When my food came, window opened, food pushed out, window closed. Overall, I was very disappointed and still hungry.

A friend recommended this taco truck. I went with my kids and let me tell you they ignored me for about 5 minutes or more. There was a younger girl and an older lady I thought maybe they didn't see me but noooo the young girl gave me eye contact and not once did she say, I will be right with you or anything. I was going to both windows for someone to acknowledge me and they did not. But as soon as a caucasian male came to the window ohhhh they acknowledge him and were so pleasant. I decided at that point I would go to taqueria la Guadalupana. Thank god I did, they helped me right away and the food was not a disappointment.

I placed an order at a football game at their food truck at Modesto CC. I ordered super nachos and what I ordered with the cashier is not what I received. The grilled chicken was hard, nacho cheese was disgusting, did not have beans, and they were not easy to work with when I brought the food back. They refused a refund and ill never eat there again.

Loaded nachos, loaded fries, asada tacos, and al pastor tacos . Flipping amazing. Great prices, great service, and great food. Thank you!

Been wanting to try this food truck for a while! First of all, $2.00 tacos, an almost unheard pricing everyday of the week!Double tortillas with plenty of carnitas! Fresh cilantro and onions, paired with pickled jalapeños. Solid tacos.#spicemeister approved!

I'm sad to read the reviews about Fonzi's. I've been coming here for a while and I've never had a bad experience with the food or service. The shrimp tacos are my go-to. they're super tasty. Definitely not stingy with the shrimp by adding a good amount shrimps on the tacos. The sauce they add is good and the fried cheese compliments the taco well. Last week I had the Fonzi Fries. Bomb The cheese on the fries were hella good. I added pastor as my choice of meat, and I would say the pastor was a little too sweet for my taste but it balanced well with the other ingredients. My only complaint is I wished they added a little more sour cream but overall a good meal to share with someone.

I got a super burrito and it was DRY! No salsa. Rice was undercooked. 0/10 recommend.

Went there on Saturday when some friends wanted to try out the Grub Hub. I got the asada fries (I think they're the Fonzi Fries on the menu) and man oh man, they were delicious. I've been having a hard time finding great asada fries in Modesto so this was a blessing. The flavor of everything was excellent, and man they give you a lot of it. Fries were fresh too, I saw them dump them straight out of the fry basket into the container. Prices were good too, especially considering the quality and quantity. Employees were nice and helpful as well. I didn't have a lot of questions, but what ones I did have they answered well and helped a lot. Service was pretty quick too. This place is great, honestly worth the drive downtown. Wish they had one closer to center Modesto.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered one thing: plain steak tacos for my kid. He said he didn't hear me say that (probably bc he had his AirPods in)When they handed me the tacos and I told them I ordered them plain he argued w me. Really? Over two plain steak tacos? He couldn't just own it, and make them over? Wow! Worst customer service I've ever had.

I had a friend who said to try the shrimp tacos, they were not my favorite whatsoever. The shrimp was cooked like it was for a cocktail not tacos. I do not recommend and the lady at the window were not very friendly or polite.

Not my first time to this area but my first to Fonzi's. Went with the keto chicken tacos and the Al Pastor tacos. Both were really good. By far the busiest truck at Grub Hub. I would definitely go back. I'd like to try a burrito next time. If you are in downtown Modesto give it a try. Parking inside by the trucks is nice with bathrooms onsite.
